Plaa's Thansadet Resort

Friendly, clean, affordable and with an absolutely magnificent view over the bay. The beach downstairs is stunning and great for swimming. We didn’t find the stairs to be much of a bother and neither did our 8 year old daughter. You do work up a bit of a sweat though. Staff was kind and attentive. Food was great.

Amazing location. It felt like living in a tree house high on the cliff. Despite the rustic environment, the room itself was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The bed was really comfy and there was a nice hammock to relax in on the patio. The view was amazing. This room was a great place to relax. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. They helped arrange transport from the pier to the hotel and even sent someone down to help us carry our bags up the steps. They offer laundry services as well which were very fast. The restaurant was great and we never got tired of eating there during our stay. The view from the restaurant cant be beat and the food was delicious. As others have mentioned, the route up to the resort from the beach is very steep. If you have limited mobility or travel with a million pieces of luggage this might not work for you, but for anyone else I highly recommend this place and I hope that I can make it back some day.

Amazing view and nice beach

Pillows was tragedy, internet always stopped working after one day and you have to go to get another code.

The views from the room and the restaurant are spectacular. The staff was wonderful and the food was top notch.

The resort was a little bit challenging to get to. I'm glad we had checked it out before we were carrying our big packs.

The view from the restaurant terrace is amazing. The room was very clean.

The location was wild and natural. Food was good. Rooms were pleasant and everything worked well. Good showers A/C and TV WiFi etc

Staff seemed sad and subdued. No welcome, difficult arrival. Hard to find, no signs. We had to walk through rubbish to get there. Access very precarious and dangerous for anyone with mobility issues or with young children. The place felt unkempt and overpriced. Beach was full of rubbish and the general area felt run down. You need transport as it’s very difficult to arrange a taxi from the accommodation .

Absolutely beautiful location and amazing food with fantastic options for vegetarians/vegans. Perfect place to get away and relax. Plus lots of dogs and cats to make friends with!
