We were lucky with the location of our villa - 20A - being right by the beach. Close to pool and beach and restaurant. Perfect for the family. We were also able to arrange transport with them at an extra cost. This made the journey very convenient and zero hassle booking ferries and buses and taxis. Staff were all super friendly. Really lovely with the kids. The location of the bay/beach is beautiful and it is very picturesque. Was mainly quiet during our visit but the lounge area around the main beach, pool and restaurant could get busy at times. Overall peaceful, lovely holiday. Good little spot but have to hire a driver/get transport to go anywhere as there’s not much to do beyond the pool and beach. Kids enjoyed the playground. Was bigger than we expected and really fun. Pool was fine but VERY deep - no kids pool or shallow end for them to splash in - so you really have to be watchful. Villa was cleaned upon request which was always without issues.

We booked a three bedroom property thinking it was a house with three bedrooms. It is not. It is a one bedroom house with two separate other bedrooms accessed separately, each up a flight of stairs and with their own front door. This makes it totally unsuitable for a family with young children and was never specifically mentioned otherwise we wouldn’t have booked it. Only one bedroom is connected to the main living room/kitchen, the other two are not and you have to exit the property entirely to access them. There was also a lot of damp and mould around the house and you could smell the damp every time you opened the kitchen drawers. The curtains had mould on them. Food in the restaurant was delicious but so so expensive compared to everywhere else we have been in Thailand. We spent a lot more money than we had anticipated. The property also took a cash deposit upon our arrival which we had not been informed about. a bit of a hassle as we had to go find an ATM and then pay another fee to get more cash out… We really felt it wasn’t good value for money at all and found much better properties in beautiful locations for much less money. We would not book again or recommend as we feel there are much better places for far less money on the island and around.

The Pool Villa is brand new restored, extremely clean and walk distance from the beach. Big patio with outdoor table for dining and big sofa.

- We ask for an extra bed and the Villa Management charge us THB 850 per night. Once we check the extra bed consist in a duvet on the floor and another duvet on top (picture below). The "bed" was obviously hard as only a duvet separate from the floor so we give it back - On the check out they ask to pay extra cleaning for the towel we use for the shower (they were basically clean...) and they want us to charge THB 800 because we use a blanket that was in our wardrobe (no one told us and no sign indicate that the use of the extra blanket was chargeable) - Kitchen tools can be improved

Honestly, this is the best place in Koh Chang, calm, clean, best beach, lovely villas, amazing pools, bars, great restaurant. You can rent cayak... Not far from Ferry. You need car or bike to go shopping but it is closed community and we had AMAZING TIME here.

During check out they told us that we lost a towel and they wanted us to pay 500 baht, which wasnt true and extremely overprice. I think is a scamming practice applied by the stuff (we tipped the stuff already). Fortunately we went to check it out with the lady to show her all towels. Then she just left without saying single word. Too bad for such great place.

Location. Beautiful beach, beautiful sunsets. We booked this simply to be right on the beach. But you are out of the way here from the main town (not walkable as over very steep hill) depends if that bothers you or not. We had a car so it was ok. Staff were nice and really helpful/ quick to respond. Gardeners and cleaners were good. Outside seating area and garden were well maintained and beautiful. Outside miles better than the inside..

The reason why I scored this a 6 was mainly because the upkeep of the villa was poor. The sofa we had to cover with a throw we found as it was that grubby/dirty, we just didn't want to sit on it. Deep cleaning could have been better. It all needed a lick of paint as the walls were stained, the bathroom walls had been painted in 2 different colour whites. It really needs some maintenance and a complete renewal of the old furniture / old blinds to bring the internals up to a good standard.

Personally I didn’t mind the location but it’s quite far from KB. Nice enough resort, great pool. Also the beach is lovely.

Towels get changed every 3 days which is too long. Ladies who cleaned the villa weren’t friendly at all.
