Utalay Koh Chang Villas

The main pool, restaurant and beach are good. The villas look nice and the rooms have contained bathrooms.

It's advertised as a resort but it's an AirBnB style accommodation. Limited room cleaning, towels etc. Power went out frequently in only a 6 day stay. Reception lady through prior communication have me the impression that we would be picked up at the ferry terminal but this was not the case and it resulted in a very bad travel experience to the villas with my small children.

Everything perfect except the adjoining construction site which makes the stay nightmarish

Many houses are under construction in the subdivision, especially right next door. It’s a huge construction site. We are awakened at 8:00 a.m. by the sound of hammers and the screams of grinders. Calm returns at 5:00 p.m. It is prudent to wait until 2025 before booking.

Very nice villa, a lot of beaches, very good locality.

In the end required extra payment for laundry of 3 towels, which were dirty from normal using.

Kitchen great. Good utensils. Beds very comfy and last who checked us in was amazing during our stay unlike the lady that dealt with bookings

Swimming pool green dirty on arrival man cleaned it said was terrible. Swimming pool could just stand it's too deep useless for kids. Lights didn't work so cudnt use it night time. No pest control the place was full of mosquitoes all the time . The living area was absolutely terrible. 1 small old futon for 6 ppl and baby. Cudnt put 2 on it. TV above stairs so bad. 3 stools were brought to help us sit and relax but no good. This place has a lot of good but so much bad also. The resort swimming pool is good. The restaurants are 2 or 3 times price of anywhere else and food just ok. This place is very beautiful though and would be good if you don't bring kids. Do not bring kids here the house does not suit kids at all
