Very nice little Vietnamese place with a character . People are nice and food is good .

Building site on the beach right in front of the hotel , builders start at 6am . Nothing on the beach , no beds , cafe - nothing like a picture on here . They told me it’s because season has finished . Broken window frames so windows don’t shut , put a bed net down and hope for the best . At 10pm lights are off (bar,pool - total darkness).

Bit of an odd place. Super atmospheric - first night we were the only guests in the whole place. Old colonial vibe. F&B good-not-great overall - best to stick with the noodle soups, which were truly outstanding. Bathroom in our room seemed recently re-done, quite stylish but no privacy whatsoever.

Place really needs a makeover. Ok, we were there at the beginning of rainy season, but there seemed to be a lloeak in every roof. Check-in was odd - our passports were collected at a kind of guardhouse, then we had to walk (in the rain) to the main house, where we waited 20 min for somebody to show up, despite having arrived exactly when we said we would. Same at departure - walked back to the guardhouse in the pouring rain. Not a long walk, but...would've expected a golf cart or something.

It must have been nice when it was built, but now it is far from it. The old architecture would be nice if it was renovated. The view from the room was nice and basic amenities worked fine.

It’s so run down it’s so unsafe that we literally put our foot through the floor boards around the pool. Zero pool safety if you had kids and the tiles had sharp edges. The room was old with no ceiling fan and the doors and windows didn’t close properly because the wood has warped and not been maintained. The Food at the restaurant was poor and no other local options. We took the offer of their free bicycles and they were barely usable. we even had to go to the local mechanic ourselves to pump up the tyres. They didn’t have a bike pump or care. Most of the staff were unfriendly and didn’t smile, except for Sang who was a breathe of fresh air.

Fabulous room. Lovely beach location.
