Villa Louise Hue Beach Boutique Hotel

The peace and quiet. The beautiful location. The swimming pools. The comfortable bed. The food. The very tasteful decor and furniture. The staff.

The same playlist by the pool three days running.

The hotel is like a big garden on the beach.

The air conditioner is not strong enough.

Very friendly staff very helpful exceptional value for money, air conditioning worked great. Well kept and very clean.

There was a few things that could use a little upgrading as was a little dated and not working fully and effective

Located by the beach, escaping the heat from Hue with fresh breeze from the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The main building with the restaurant and pool has been freshly refurbished. And we enjoyed our stay but the price left a bitter taste.

The prices are not adequate for this aging property. It is more like a small hotel with a fancy pool than a beach club. The pools by the beach are long gone with only concrete left. The beach club is only a small hut by the beach. The rooms could be refurbished. We could feel the potential of the place and how it used to be. We loved the pool and the restaurant but it is overpriced.

The breakfast was great!

The design of the bathroom (it would be great to have some curtains in the "windows" between bathroom and the room.

Nice and stylish boutique hotel on a mostly unspoiled beach (near the bar). Good food, very helpful staff!

Unfortunately the resort is not as well maintained as expected. Right in front of the rooms an ugly concrete wave breaker was recently constructed with ongoing noise.

The central building, when the sun was shining in, was beautiful. Stunning tiles and a really lovely feel about the place and t was peaceful - only the sound of the waves.

Run down, tired, hardly any staff, not close to any other options so charging ridiculous prices for average food. The TV doesn’t work except for YouTube, the shower is borderline dangerous up a couple of steep, slippery steps and then stand in the middle of a huge jacuzzi - or you can shower in a muddy courtyard outside. Doors and windows are ill-fitting and the sun lounger broke as soon as one of us sat on it. Sun loungers in public areas all had faded and old cushions on them, broken bits and pieces around the place - two of the pools advertised no longer exist and seem to have been claimed by the sea and coastal erosion. Dinner took two and a half hours with only six in the restaurant and cost over 600 000 VND for two mains, a dessert and a beer. The Beach Bar was the only option before 2pm, tired facilities, not very friendly staff and 200 K dong for 3 prawns and a few bits of squid. It was all a bit miserable and for somewhere that was costing enough to feel like a bit of a splurge, it was a rip off. We checked out a day early. I didn’t want to kick the place when it’s down because it just feels like it is not having any care or money put into anymore, maybe Covid did it in, but what is advertised is not what you get. It has the potential to be really lovely but needs a lot of work to get it there.
