Super nice staff , great pool and amazing food . The bungalows where comfi and the beach part is private and clean

The beach bar was in construction and no chairs to lie in .

We stayed here as part of a longer family holiday to Vietnam travelling around by train. Instead of a short stay in Hue then a trip to the “proper beach” elsewhere, we chose to stay here for 5 nights and do a couple of tours. I’m really glad we did that as the location is really special and it gave us the best of both worlds. It’s so peaceful and the beach was deserted apart from the local fishermen. The pool is lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The tours arranged by the reception were a massive highlight. We did the Hue Imperial city tour and the DMZ tour. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, and the sights and history so interesting. The staff in the restaurant/bar and at reception couldn’t have been more helpful - great service all around.

Some common areas of the hotel felt a bit tired. For example, the wooden boards and loungers around the pool area were coming apart. Our room was lovely but felt a bit small for a family of four. And we felt that the value for money could have been better - this was the most expensive place we stayed in Vietnam and not the highest standard. We ate at the restaurant all the time as you are a bit limited for other options within walking distance - that was fine for us, and the food was good (recommend you stick to Vietnamese rather than going for pasta/pizza) but I do think they put the prices knowing that the market is captive.

Bad lighting in the room. No light outside our room. It felt like it needed some attention, new fabric on furnishings, it was 40 minutes cab to town. Had not realised this. Beach was very rough and there was a big concrete foundation being built. Only 10 sun beds for 50 guests.

The Hotel Garden and buildings looking nice, but they are also aged.

There is absolute nothing around. The neighboorhood is poor and dirty. Locals burning rubbish everywhere, also in front of the hotel 😕

Loved the peaceful location by the beach, it’s like a tropical paradise. Great place to escape for a few days. Character rooms and fantastic food

no hot water in room. had to walk the length of the building to spare room to have a hot shower there was an offer to move to that room, but among other things its door lock did not work..
