The staff! Manoj and his team are delightful. Friendly, accommodating and so happy to help with any requests. The food was the nicest we ate in Munnar and would highly recommend having dinner there. The pool is also lovely and cool and has a beautiful outlook over the mountains.

It would have been nice to have a working fridge but that is really a minor concern.

Loved so much about Chithirapuram Palace, the swimming pool was wonderful with lovely cold water which was super refreshing. The food was delicious and breakfast was very tasty and lots of it. Staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Fantastic

Location: I am really happy I did not stay in Munnar Town, and stayed here instead. This was around a 30 minute drive away, but zero regrets. The location was really peaceful and calm, exactly what I needed. My only regret is that I did not have sufficient time to lounge around the hotel and chill. Room: Absolutely loved the room. It was spacious and I had a balcony of sorts with a nice seating area, perfect for sipping chai and reading. The room itself was sufficiently large, had a cupboard, etc. Bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. Staff: Excellent and helpful staff.

Lights: Having stayed in other hill stations where the hotels did have the main lights on over the night, I was rather surprised when the whole place plunged into complete darkness before 9 PM. I would have liked to sit out in the balcony for a while in the nights before bed, but it did not feel safe after lights out. I felt a bit cheated, since I was really looking forward to chilling outside in the late evenings. Food: You have to inform in advance if you plan to eat meals there, which becomes a little tiresome if you are busy all day and can't really predict when you will return. Breakfast was decent, but not as great as other places on this trip.

The manager of the property was very cordial, efficient and polite. He accommodated us for one extra night. He was very informed and had a personal touch. Food was basic but very good. Location itself was excellent and the landscaping of the property was beautiful. Highly recommended.
