Chithirapuram Palace

La douche était bien. Le personnel était sympa. La décoration était jolie.

Chambre pas du tout insonorisée... J'entendais tout ce qui se passait dans le hall et dans la salle à manger depuis mon lit. Odeurs désagréables de brûlé lorsque j'étais sur la terrasse de ma chambre et autour de la piscine. Cuisine médiocre (les snacks étaient corrects ; le petit-déjeuner et les plats asiatiques n'étaient pas à la hauteur: j'ai mieux mangé dans des petits homestays...).

Manoj was an incredible host!! Arranged our collection from Kochi airport and transport to Alleppey after our stay, both for a very reasonable price. He also suggested a really enjoyable day tour for us whilst in Munnar. The food was really tasty and lots to choose from on the Menu. The location was very peaceful, and it was the only place during our 3 week stay in India that had a pool!!

The town isn't easily accessible from the property unless you have your own car, and Uber wasn't as readily available as it was in bigger cities. Though this was perfect for us and what we wanted from our stay here, it is worth bearing in mind!

We have really enjoyed our stay at Chithirapuram Palace! We were happy to stay a bit further from Munnar which ended up being a great decision. The hotel is in a quiet area but still only a tuktuk drive away from Munnar and its hiking routes and organised activities. The room was comfortable and clean and we had a very pleasant forest soundscape to fall asleep to. All the meals we had at the hotel were delicious! A big thank you to Manoj for taking such excellent care of us!

Nice villa right on top of the mountain, great view, loads of birds and trees arround. Staff was brilliant, delicious home cooked food. Nice overall experience, for a very good price. Booked for three nights ended up spending five.
