Chithirapuram Palace

We liked that Chitirapuram Palace was a small hotel with a swimming pool. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It was useful having the opportunity for a cooked meal in the evening - alternatively it would have been a tuk tuk ride to the nearest restaurant.

We didn't feel warmly welcomed. We felt we were mis-sold the room as the booking clearly stated mountain view - which I believe is one of the main reasons people visit Munnar, unfortunately we were given a room which looked out on to a wall and a tree which was very dissapointing after the long journey we made to get there. People were talking loudly and slamming doors in the lobby for around an hour from 3am which disturbed our sleep.

It was a beautiful place with good atmosphere . The place and rooms were very clean and with an beautiful ambiance. we loved the stay and the services . Its really more than value of the money spent . Good , comfort and beautiful place to stay with family .

The entire premises makes not as a stay at hotel , its like our own feeling at home been with star hotel facilities . The swimming pool was so good with beautiful ambiance . good food as what we ordered was excellent . Morning break fast offered in package was so worthy and loved it . Overall a good place to stay .

Beautiful place to stay. Manoj and the gang are so helpful and provided very exceptional service.

The choice of breakfast is very poor. Need to improve on their food as the nearest food outlet outside is 15 min walking distance.

Super little infinity pool with mountain view.. We had direct access to pool from our room and balcony. Food was lovely, staff were lovely and very helpful with organising trips and drivers. Room was clean.
