"It was an excellent vacation, would love to go back!"

9.0

The rooms were lovely, and very clean. Except for our very slow draining shower . The property was beautiful, and the staff were all extremely professional and friendly. There is something for everyone and age. We all had a great time.

Everything is expensive! But I get, it must cost a small fortune to keep everything up and going

"I would come back"

Room was nice, facilities overall were good. Generally people who worked there were very good. The location was nice

Expensive, some bar staff around the pool were not very friendly at times, quite rude to my children.

"Won’t be returning"

2.0

The rooms seem like nothing has been repaired in quite some time. The sink was clogged. Staff was uninterested in helping. Guest services was nonexistent. Automated system kept me on hold for over 30 minutes serveral different times. Everything unreasonably overpriced AND all food had an automatic 15% gratuity added regardless of party size or service quality. I have no interest ever returning to Atlantis or the Bahamas

"Wonderful 1st trip to Atlantis...can't wait to return!"

10.0

Loved this resort! Went over Easter break and for the most part, had great weather! We stayed in the Royal and loved the location of it. Many say to stay in the east tower but we were in the west, and actually happy that is where we ended up. Think it was more convenient for the pool and Aqua Adventure area, and also when we did get rain, everyone huddled under cover near the elevator area for the east side so it was so congested. Loved being set a bit from that and the walk everywhere was totally fine. Also closer to the Cove in the west tower, but really the walk was not a big deal to any of the other locations. We walked everywhere and felt totally safe having my kids walk to the Marina area (in the evening) and back to the Royal on their own (ages 12 and 17). Loved all the slides and all the marine life. One day we did all the slides and I'm glad we did as the next several days they were not all open. Not sure why that was, but there were always a few closed thereafter. It didn't affect us that much as we enjoyed the Leap of Faith and the Serpent Slide, along with some of the ones in the Mayan temple. Not sure why some of the others were closed each day after that. The pool temperatures were lovely and we never had an issue getting chairs. We didn't go down crazy early to get chairs in the morning, but usually were up by 8:00 so someone in our family would go down and put our towels and things on them. I did notice people who didn't come to the pool until later, like 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM, and then most were full, so probably would be harder to find. But there are so many different areas to sit, and people coming and going during the day that hopefully it wouldn't be impossible for them. Also, if there were towels just left on chairs for a few hours with nothing else, those could be moved, or you could ask an attendant to help you. Again though, we never had this issue since got our spots for the day in the morning. Loved the Pieces of 8 tour group and the on-site Blue Adventure options. We did a scuba lesson in the pool; went out on a boat to Snuba and snorkel, and then did the Exuma tour with Pieces of 8. Can't wait to come back and do some of the other tours that Pieces of 8 offers and probably will do Snuba or Scuba diving next time with Blue Adventures. Amazing restaurants and a nice mix b/t ones with reservations and ones w/o. Poseidon's always moved fast even when there was a long line to sit down for breakfast - so don't let that deter you. Can't wait to return!

"Amazing Property but Frustrating"

6.0

Stayed at Atlantis with my family (2 adults, 2 children ages 6 and 9) for 5 nights. Busy time of year with spring break. We were looking forward to the Aquaventure water park. Kids were excited for the slides. However, the lines were so long for the water slides. We were often waiting at least 30-45 mins per slide. It was very frustrating. What would have alleviated some of the pressure was if the park STAFFED all the slides. We were tired of waiting for slides that we eventually gave up. After staying in the park for 5 days, we were only able to do some of the slides 1-2 times. Felt like a waste of money if we traveled all this way to do the waterpark/slides and we can't even get on them. Expected more from the resort. We were also competing with crowds from the cruises. If the resort is going to book this many people, it should be prepared to manage them. We waited in long lines to get into the breakfast buffet which took away from our time at the beach/pool. Almost waiting 30 mins to enter the restaurant, forget the omelet line! It was a big hassle to deal with reservations when our breakfast buffet cost which was supposed to be included was not listed at check -in. We spent a lot of time dealing with reservations when we should have been on vacation. The resort was so large with so many travelers that it made everything challenging like accessing pools, restaurants, reservations. Honestly, would think twice about booking here again.

"Gorgeous but too big for a lazy relaxing kind of trip."

6.0

The Property is BEAUTIFUL and there is plenty to do. However it is huge and you need to have the mind-set of getting your steps in. We were on vacation and not looking for that 15,000 step type of days but there is so much walking to get between the pools, casino, marina village etc. We had the day pass and if it was a hotter weather day we would have gotten a lot more out of it. Don't book in advance if you plan to get the day pass wait until you see what the weather is. It was 80 degrees and partly cloudy (at the end of March) but the pools and water slides are cold and the wind when you get out makes it even colder. I would not stay here with a family with little kids unless you are looking for a very active vacation rather than a lazy relaxing kind of trip. It seems perfect for kids aged 7-13.
