Nicely decorated modern AC room in the garden area. English speaking owner which, as long as you are spending money in the restaurant or she can make money from you, she has an interest in you. Lovely clean bathroom with a separate shower and toilet - hurrah!!!

We did not have any Wi-Fi in the garden room. AC was not sufficient for the room. Even with AC on full @ 14:30, the temp was still 28° 🥵 Top 2 units on left hand side (no.s 15 & 17) when coming up the stairs are full in the sun all day and not recommended. Our room wasn’t cleaned for the 4 nights we stayed. By morning 3, we took our rubbish down to reception and asked for a new bin bag. Unfortunately, the bathroom walls towards the top are open to the elements and therefore mosquitoes and other flying insects at night, especially if you put the lights on. Also, due to the construction of the roof, there are gaps which enables geckoes to come and go as they please Ordinarily, we would not be bothered by geckoes but they do make random chirruping noises in the middle of the night and will wake you up. We found it difficult to sleep every night. Nowhere to hang your towels in the bathroom. The curtains are not at all dark, so as soon as it begins to get light you will be awake. It would be useful to have some hooks/coat stand in the main room for hanging stuff. A suitcase stand would be useful.

Simple but tastefully decorated bungalows right at the beachfront. We visited all the beaches on the island and this stretch was by far our favourite. Beautiful view, good water temperature and absolutely not overcrowded even when the resort operated at its maximum capacity. Super kind and helpful staff. Lots of families so our kid had companions to play with which was great :) A canoo was available for guests to take free of charge and visit other parts of the bay which was great. Small chairs for kids and also some sand toys available for everyone to play with. Good choice of breakfast and food Ps. Earlier reviews mentioned workshops for kids, there were none offered during out stay - we had fun anyway. This is not a criticism, just a feedback to manage your expectations.

The bathroom in the AC room is not completely walled off so mosquitos and hornets get in there very easily. Would be great to put nets on those gaps or wall them off entirely. Food is good but overpriced when compared to other places in the same bay. Beds are very hard so we didn't really sleep well, however this seems to be the case everywhere on the island, not only here. Our biggest disappointment was the sea itself actually. So: it looks beautiful and the water temperature is great. There is a small reef just 2 min away where you can easily see 10+ species of fish, 2-3 different kinds of sea cucumbers, and badass sea urchins. BUT. When we visited there was A TON of sea lice everywhere on the island. On every. Single. Beach. For adults it was annoying but bearable on most of the days, but I would have definitely spent way more time in the water had it not been for those constant stings. However on two out of 6 days we spent there, also us adults had to abandon mission due to being stung constantly. For kids .. despite our best efforts out kid wouldn't go into the water after 4-5 days there at all, and he really really loves the sea. We stayed at Khao Lak the week prior and spent hours on end playing in the sea with much bigger waves even without any issue. Here we didn't have one round of swimming without getting stung drama - including once by an adult jellyfish. So while we would return to this resort itself, we would not return to Koh Phayam again due to sea lice.

Location. That's it. All the rest, the room, facilities nit worth the money

We booked a villa 2 bedroom, thay made mistake gave us 1 bedroom, extra springs mattress that was old, broken. On top of all thus they asked us to pay for a glass (with mango juice) we broke by mistake Bottom line, would go back to the island Not to this hotel

Heaven beach resort is in the best location on the island. Great place for kids, there were many kids there. The food is great and the staff are all really helpful and friendly and they seem happy.

The place is beautiful but it is a bit run down in places, the mattresses are hard (but that seems to be everywhere on the island) and should generally be renewed as they are stained and not really clean anymore. If u want your room cleaned on a daily basis you just need to tell the staff.

I stayed with my husband for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved Heaven Beach Resort! It was run by a really lovely group of people. The beach was peaceful and the sunsets were beautiful. The food was some of the best we had in Thailand. The bungalow was lovely and comfortable.
