Bobocha Siladen Boutique Resort

The location is sublime, on our first morning when we were served breakfast on the beach, gazing across the sea at the volcano in the distance we knew we were not going to regret booking this one! We had been travelling around Indonesia for a month and this was our last week, and what a week! …..The diving….superb. The accommodation ….superb. The food …. Divine. And the service just incredible. This little piece of paradise is owned and run by Sarah and nothing was too much trouble for her or her staff . Thanks

Secluded and quiet little haven. almost felt like on a private island. The house reef is amazing and scuba gear brand new.

Beautiful little resort run by Sarah & her team with a great set-up to have common meals at night in a most wonderful "picture perfect long dinner table" at the beach. The combination of such a well looked after and beautifully built little resort and the superb location right on the beach with such friendly and caring people makes this place a very special one. Sarah, the host is very caring and gives you a feeling of being very welcome in her little paradise. The food provided was of very high quality, served directly at the beach in the sand. Very romantic as well as a great thing are the common meals in the evening with beautiful lights, very nice dishes and different people from around the world. Breakfast and lunch gets served at a smaller, private table close to the sea with stunning views and also excellent food of your choice ( breakfast ). We had a beach villa with a lovely patio facing the sea. The villa itself was spotless clean, a very comfortable bed, fan, ac, big bathroom, nicely decorated and offered always fresh drinking water. The beach feels very privat and you can swim, snorkel and relax all day long. The reef was just a footstep from the beach and there was plenty to discover including sea turtles, buffer fish, rays, octopus, lion fish and others. The captain and snorkelling guide Andreas is also to be mentioned as a very friendly, nice and caring guy. We went with him on a night-dive ( or better "night snorkelling trip" ) , which was an unforgettable experience for my daughter & myself. Andreas spotted each and every possible creature down there. We saw so many creatures at that night trip, we had never seen before and didn´t even know that they exist. We felt very comfortable and safe being with him in the water during night-time. The attention of the resort to create life-time memories and to get to meet people from around the world is achieved excellently!

The location was amazing with beautiful sunsets and close proximity to some of the best world snorkelling spots ever, with an excellent house reef too. The host, Sarah was great, friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. Sarah's food was plentiful and very well prepared, with amazing huge servings of fish and a variety of salad and vegetables and the usual rice. There was wifi in the rooms too, which was great. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of space for storing clothes and hanging up wet swim suits and gear. The boating crew and snorkelling guide were exceptional, and also a lot of fun to be with with good attention to safety. Sarah's team were sweet, kind and very helpful. I loved that dinners were served from one table and that was great being a single person, as one had to connect with the other visitors, at least at supper time. I have stayed friends with some of the people I met at Bobocha.

Air conditioning was only at night, but I didn't mind that, as we were out most of the day in the sea snorkelling. I did not have hot water in my shower, but the air temperature, being so hot anyway meant it didn't bother me too much. The room has wooden shutters and no curtains, just net sun filters, but it was fine you just had to remember to close the wooden shutters at night. The bathroom floors were a bit too slippery and some rubber mats there would have been a good idea. Some of the islanders were burning something nearby that didn't smell too pleasant, especially at night.

Very romantic place to stay and Sara will do everything to give you the best experience you can imagine. Food is awesome

Somewhat pricey taking in mind the general Indonesian standards we where used during our trip Staff may be a little bit more pro-active towards guest while you have to search for them in the main building if you want to arrange/order things.

My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Bobocha Siladen resort in September 2024. We really enjoyed this resort, its perfect position in the island, the very friendly staff and the possibility to have all meals outside on the beach. Special mention to the food which was always really good !! It's possible to access to the reef starting from the sandy beach, or walk to the jetty of the island which is not far away from the Bobocha resort. The house reef is really beautiful for divers and snorkelers, we also did snorkeling trips to Bunaken which were amazing. We hope to return to this resort in the future. Electric Power in the resort is only available from sunset to sunrise, but we already knew this before arriving and it was not a big problem.

The staff is excellent, and the food was very good. The boat and crew are top notch, and very attentive to divers and snorkelers.

No fault of the resort, but there is only electricity and air conditioning from 5:30 pm to 7 am.

Great house reef.

Food tasted good but there wasn’t enough food for all guests as it was served “family style “. Drinks were overpriced. Overall, overpriced.

It is a very private but very beautiful place to stay. Every morning you are greeted by a small breakfast directly on the beach. You can always take spontaneous trips with the resorts own boat. Dinner has always been spectacular, with very fresh fish and other ingeredients. Every night you will enjoy the most beautiful sunset.

Sadly no drinks are included (only water) and if you want to take some tours, it will quickly add up.
