Bobocha Siladen Boutique Resort

Bobocha Siladen is a kind of non-standard luxury resort. It is quite unique and I am happy that such places exist. The food is gourmet quality. Also besides that, Sarah and her team try to fulfill every wish.

While it is not unusual that such places have electricity only at night, it would be good to have the possibility of A/C in daytime.

We paid a lot of money for the accomodation itself, so I would expect certaim things to be included. 1. this Island is famous for it‘s corals around. But If you want to go snorkeling you have you pay for renting the snorkeling equipment??? For two days 200k? 2. Selling this for several hundret euros but then charging for every juice, coconut oder breakfrast extra is not ok! 3. Staff was often just laying arounf at the pool, most of the time when you want some water etc, you need to go seach them to be served. Probably just because the chef was out of town. 4. this Hotel needs to lower the prices! 40€ for a bottle of wine, 4€ for one Beer, 2€ for one coconut (which grow everywhere) is simply too much!! Guests would enjoy just to have some things included after paying a high amount of money for the stay.

I barely know where to start. We had eight days of pure bliss. As you didn’t have to think of anything other than bringing your swimwear and what your next read would be, we soon got into a rhythm of just existing. We woke up in the morning and walked out on the beach, breakfast was served and when we had finished a boat was packed and ready to take us diving (which was incredible). When we arrived back at the island lunch was ready (which was equally incredible). Afternoons were spent reading, snorkelling, exploring the island or more diving. In the evening dinner was served at a communal table directly on the beach, where we talked about all the turtles we saw during the day. Lights out, repeat. We could’t have wished for a better stay. Terima kasih banyak.

This is a very small and fairly remote island. It’s a small wonder there is even electricity and internet at all, so set your expectations accordingly. Electricity will be off during the day, which is a small compromise for what you get in return.

We were able to enjoy a tremendous time at Bobocha Siladen. The resort lays perfectly on the beach, the food is exceptional and the staff very friendly and eager to actively support wherever they can. The coral reef directly in front of the resort is optimal for snorkeling and we were able to go scuba diving organized by the resort team - it was absolutely magnificent (and can definitely keep up with the most beautiful dive spots around the world). The whole resort is very well managed with all the attention on making it an unforgettable experience for the customer. Thank you to Lilly and the enitre staff for their passion in hosting us.

The tranquillity was fantastic.

No complaints what so ever.

An absolutely unforgettable time was had by our group saying at Bobocha Siladen. The food was of a very high standard and perfect every time and Sarah is a great host who gets the balance of hosting and guest privacy right. The beach feels very private and you can fully switch off and relax and the pool is a nice extra for a morning/evening swim. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated and the staff are attentive and have a lovely calm demeanor. During our time in Sulawesi we stayed in other accommodation after Sarah's and we were constantly comparing it and wishing we were back as the food was unrivaled and was such a great place to spend our first week.

Overall we were very satisfied but the wifi would now and again turn off in the evening. The meals are all served communal dining style and there were some evenings it would have been nice to sit privately with our family after a long day of diving.

The location was amazing and the snorkeling on the house reef was wonderful. The food was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast sitting on the beach in the mornings was a highlight.

No access to coffee before 7am. The towels were stained and needed replacing. Two pillows on the bed per person would have been an improvement instead of just one. Despite the food being excellent, dinner lacked either a dessert or a fruit platter to finish and the offer of tea and coffee. The swimming pool needs a shade cover as the water was hot during the middle of the day. Some umbrellas around the pool would provide a shady area to sit on the lounges provided. Having only one boat, it was a scramble amongst guests to book it for snorkeling as it was used for transfers as well. The salty shower water gets a bit much after a few days. I would equate the resort to a top-end backpackers, not an upmarket resort as the price indicates and is marketed as such. With a few tweaks, it could be amazing and many discomforts such as no power during the day could be overlooked. I feel that for what is offered, it's overpriced.

Had a villa by the beach which had a lovely view. Breakfast on the beach was a pleasure. We went on two trips, swam with green turtles and saw a school of pilot whales, a real treat, and a visit we will remember.

The food was definitely a plus

Timing for dinner was definitely too strict (and too early, 18:30) & guests needs were managed without so much attention

It’s a small resort nicely integrated into the small village. The personal care of the whole team around Sarah was a great experience and the food unique and the best we ever had enjoyed. The common meals on the beach are beautiful and you can chat wit the other guests at the dinner. The house riff is also on a very good condition.
