The pool and the public beach next to the hotel were nice

Even the staff at reception spoke almost no English. Staff at the breakfast buffet did not care: not filling up empty fruit platters, not ever checking to prepare the tables. The Hotel is too far to go to town walking. You need some transportation. For allowing to check out 90 minutes later (rooms being available) we had to pay.

A Condao, très peu ( six selon moi y compris six-senses hors de prix) de resorts disposent d'une plage. C'est un atout et un privilège qui mériteraient d’être valorisés... Malheureusement ce n'est pas le cas ici, où aucun aménagement digne de ce nom ne permet de profiter de la plage et où la piscine semble à l'abandon. Pour compenser, chambres agréables et personnel sympathique.

La page mériterait donc d’être mise en valeur, de même pour la piscine qui parait bien vieille et devrait être rénovée. Sans parler du mobilier, chaises longues, parasols, ... qui est dans un état de décrépitude avancée. Pour le reste, une architecture et un aménagement intérieur manquant totalement de caractère. Quand on s'appelle "Condao resort" pas très étonnant de manquer totalement d'imagination et de personnalité.

We stayed here in 2006 so were pleased it is still the same with upgraded facilities

They did not have complimentary pushbikes (unlike in 2006). This made it inconvenient to get around unless you have licence to rent a motorbike. We had to rent push bikes in town but even then there were very few for the high demand.

Lovely location on a beautiful beach. There are enough beach chairs with shade that you can spend time laying on and enjoying the view.

I wish the staff made more of an effort to be welcoming. Never once was I asked how my stay was or whether I needed anything. Even though breakfast is a buffet and people can help themselves, usually at nice hotels there is still staff checking on people during the meal. It was inconvenient just to get a beach towel or order a coconut. Considering the price of the resort is not that cheap, the service is pretty sub par. Also they should specify that not all sea view rooms have a balcony. I was expecting a balcony and better view but my room was on the ground so it just opens up straight to the garden/pool area.
