The hotel staff are excellent and they did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable It’s an excellent location with a beautiful beach.

The staff were friendly and very efficient. The property was very well groomed and presented. Everything was very clean and attractive. The pool was beautifully maintained and adjacent to the beach, a beautiful stretch of sand inviting not only safe swimming but long beach walks too. Overall, a good value hotel which is well managed and well presented

Hotel provided a full buffet breakfast, with many options. Egg station popular with many Westerners, but also toast, cold fruit juice, yoghurt and fruit. Otherwise the focus was Vietnamese food options.

Nice resort on the best beach of the island. Breakfast is great, staff is helpful, u can rent scooter.

First they gave us 2 rooms road view which are noisy in the morning with scooters trunk. Then we moved to nicer rooms close to réception with direct pool access (with extra money). On saturday some drunk locals shout at midnight in the hotel and waked us up and the staff didnt do anything to stop this (so I did). I wish they keep people calm in the hotel, good rest is the highest value of a hotel for us. I d say best room are the ones with sea view upstairs so ask for it or go elsewhere

The private beach and pool

In general was all OK . If should say something. I will say the staff is very king but struggles with english.

Good location. Right on the beach which was nice, clean and safe for a swim. Straightforward walk to small day trip jetty / Wung tau ferry 'terminal'and restaurants / town. Also good availability of inexpensive taxis. Plenty of kayaks, SUP's etc available for a modest fee at the beach, (Twin kayak VND300,000 for an hour). Pool decent with outdoor showers from beach. Food was ok for effectively a three star hotel and there are a number of restaurants 10 minutes or so walk away or in the small main town with some good fresh seafood options. Hotel airport free transfer minibus was regular and efficient. Rooms all have aircon and clean / comfortable for star rating. Would come back again one day.

Could do with a few simple rainy day indoor activities such as table football or table tennis etc. No gym, but we didnt try the public sports hall across the road where there are also a few young children's free swings etc For families some Children's entertainment would be a bonus.

This is not a luxury-style resort, but a typical Vietnamese one, with typical Vietnamese athmosphere. The place is very quiet and most of the guests are Vietnamese, which can be considereded also as a big plus. The beach is really big, beautiful, and always empty. Swimming is very safe. The restaurant is also good and open all day. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Taxis or rent motorbikes are just outside. All the main touristic spots can be easily reached with few minutes taxi. The shuttle service to the airport is free and professional. The dimensions and cleanness of the room were great. This is a really recommended place, if you're looking for easy and relaxing athmosphere.

Lack of sun beds. There are only a few.

We stayed in the Con Dao Resort for 5 nights. The main reason we decided to choose this place was the access to the sandy beach. The beach at the hotel meets your expectations, and if you do not want in a specific day to go for a tour or to another beach on the island, you have access to the splendid beach right away. The Hotel is not far from the city center with many places to eat or to take massage. It is just about 300 meters from the port (you can access it by going along the beach). Although it is probably more quieter location than other places closer to the center. The hotel has a small poll 1.2 m deep, but we did not use it. Easy access to see with gradually progressing depth was too tempting to stay at the pool. The Hotel provides free transportation from and to the airport. Overall, the personnel is polite, and they try to be helpful. Rooms are cleaned regularly and in an unobtrusive way to guests. I believe in case we decide to come once against to Con Dao to have more time for snorkeling or individual tours to coral reefs on the other side of the island, we will choose this Hotel once again.

Some guests complained earlier about the quality of the breakfast. Basically, the choice for people accustomed to Western-like type of this meal could be a little disappointing. But for those eating in Asian style, with soup, rice, and other food usually eaten by Europeans in later time, the choice was quite good. The time breakfast was available was too short, and from 9.00, the food was not replenished, e.g., cold cuts or fruits. On the holiday one would appreciate having a chance to eat breakfast until 10.00. The choice of fruits was unexpectedly poor. No freshly squeezed juices, only some type of diluted concentrate awfully sweet. Coffee was very strong and continuously heated in the pot, but no option for espresso or cappuccino to take at the breakfast. The personnel was friendly, but communicating without a translator (for those who do not know Vietnamese) would have been difficult. The beach infrastructure consists of a few old, uncomfortable wooden deckchairs.
