Con Dao Resort

Pool was nice, building was a good location to walk to town, breakfast included (not many vegetarian options though), and bed was super comfy, very clean room too.

Not to do with the resort necessarily but there was rubbish on the beach :(

Breakfast time should end a bit later, not at 9 a.m.

Pool was excellent. Location was great overlooking idyllic beach.

Not enough people around. My husband got badly bitten although the hotel did warn us this could be the case.

One of the few beach-front hotels on Con Dao. It seems to cater mostly to Vietnamese and asian tourist, but that's not a problem. They were very accommodating to us western tourists and we felt very welcome. The hotel restaurant was solid, but nothing amazing. I'd say the same about breakfast. All in all, if you're looking to visit Con Dao and want a beach front hotel, this is the one. There was also a place next door that had small houses that looked interesting. Of course, if you have expensive tastes, you'll probably want to go to Six Senses.

My only complaint was that the fridge in the room didn't work well and I wish they did pool/beach service, but I didn't find many place in Vietnam doing pool or beach service. You'll quickly find out that Vietnamese hospitality generally requires you to go to the server or waive them down.
