- Keinerlei Service - Wasserqualität im Pool schlecht - Liegen u Sonnenschirme in einem reparaturbedürftigen Zustand - Personal überhaupt nicht kundenorientiert

Mooie plek aan het strand. Je loopt zo vanuit het hotel het strand op. Zwembad erbij. Kamer met balkon met zicht op de zee. Dat was erg fijn. Ruime kamer met leuke bijkomstigheid dat je vanuit de douche naar de zee en palmbomen kunt kijken. Personeel is vriendelijk en helpt bij vragen. Vooral in augustus rustig wat jet juist prettig maakt. Ook vlakbij bezienswaardigheden op het eiland.

Ontbijt geef weinig vegetarische keuze. Wanneer je dat niet bent dan is er volop keuze aan eten.

The resort is stunningly beautiful. White sand, turquoise crystal-clear water, palm trees... A perfect place to relax! The beach was virtually empty during the day, as most of the guests were Vietnamese and they like to stay out of the sun. Breakfast was ok, some Western options among many Asian. The room was great, clean and spacious with a lovely sea view, and there was Netflix on the TV. Sometimes Netflix would crash, but when we called reception they were able to fix the problem most of the time. All in all, we would gladly stay there again. Restaurant recommendation: Riso Amaro! Italian guy opened it 5 months ago - rooftop, great atmosphere, delicious food, Italian with a Vietnamese twist. A 20min walk away but so worth it!

We didn't feel completely welcome there as Western people. Some staff were friendly and spoke English, other staff weren't so friendly and seemed to try to avoid us. Breakfast was until 9.30 am, but sometimes they cleared it away before that, which we found unacceptable. We knew from reviews that they didn't have cushions for the deck chairs, but after a day of lying on hard wood I thought I'd ask anyway. And they do in fact have cushions, hidden away in a little "cave" by the pool. You would never find them without knowing and also, staff would never tell you if you don't ask... Even though they see people lying on deck chairs with no cushions. We were glad they had them, but a) the location of them way highly inconvenient (beware of red ants!) and b), every day you had to get them and put them back. They have beach towels by the pool, which we also only found out on our last day...

The noise from the night market fairground across the road was really bad

Great hotel situated in a beautiful location, right on a stunning beach, apparently the only hotel situated on the actual beach. Friendly staff, great cocktails & a huge pool with plenty of deck chairs including on the beach. It’s very authentic with most guests from Vietnam so limited English speaking staff other than reception & Western style choices for breakfast but still plenty to choose from the buffet. After seeing the view, we immediately upgraded to an ocean view room, definitely worth the extra small cost. Would definitely stay again & recommend, can’t wait to go back to Con Dao 🏝️

Loved everything

Large rooms if suite booked. Fresh fruit daily to room a nice touch.

Breakfasts were awful. Insects crawling on fruit. Little non asian variety and swift clear away at 9.30am and food frequently ran out sooner. One morning a man was not stopped for smoking at breakfast, inside. Maintenance staff laughed at you when you got wet trying to get to the pool from the hotel (they put water sprinklers on which covered all the paths which accessed the pool. (It would be usual to water the gardens early morning or early evening, not mid day). There is no bar open in the hotel after 9pm. Being greeted with a "price list" for breaking a glass or mug in the room and the various items made it feel like a cheap hostel. Warnings that you would be charged to dry your clothing on the balcony a bit much. Air con barely worked and room was shabby. Mould in bathroom. Internet intermittent and very slow.
