Lots of foods, lots of bread especially the baguettes were super good and all the services were very nice, rooms were nice everything was so good

Not much stuffs were needed to be improved, we were very satisfied with pretty much everything. He would like to visit there again

We had a wonderful stay at LUX* Le Morne. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. We really appreciated the special attention they gave to our wedding anniversary, which made our stay even more memorable. The room was comfortable, the beach was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. We also travelled with our daughter, and the team made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

Nothing significant. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

Chic neutral decor and the low rise set up feels so much nicer than a big complex. The location is stunning and the buildings sit beautifully in the setting. The whole set up is also quietly very child friendly without it being obvious or changing the aesthetic. For example - little steps under all the basins so children can reach them.

We were in the upper apartment which was lovely and had great views, as well as comfortable seating on the balcony which was perfect for when we put our daughter to bed. If you were on the lower floor it may not be quite as light and we wouldn’t have wanted to sit out as much. It’s a minor point but I’d ask for an upper floor when booking if you think you may want to sit outside the room in the evening

The hotel was beautiful, cozy and the staff were very welcoming at all times. The room was cozy and real milk (none of that dairy creamer nonsense) was provided for our coffee and tea everyday. I really appreciate small things like these. The buffet breakfast was nice with a lot of options. I liked the quick access to the pool from our room. There were plenty of sun beds and pool towels. We booked and enjoyed tennis at the tennis court and the hotel concierge arranged for a lovely, early morning hike to Le Morne Brabant. The staff also arranged for a breakfast in bed early morning on the day of the hike. At the time of our departure from the hotel, we were given parting gifts which were greatly appreciated by my family. Apart from our stay at the LUX, le Morne, we stayed at the Shangri-La Le Touessrok but we found the Le Morne area to be more scenic and convenient. We'd rented a self-driven car and were enjoyed the wonderful scenery while driving around Le Morne and being able to visit nearby restaurants for e.g. Wapalapam in Le Morne itself, supermarkets like Monoprix, London way and money exchangers like Shibani Finance which were more or less within five minutes of each other in the Riviere Noire(Black River) area.

The in room dining options of the hotel were quite limited and this was our biggest nitpick of them all. We made up for this by eating outside the hotel especially at night as the Le Morne area has decent restaurants within a 20-30 minute drive. While the room was beautiful and there was a separate storage area complete with a chest of drawers and a safe, they was no storage around the bed or TV area. A bit of form over function but one can still manage. The toilet lacked a water spray (I've travelled to quite a few hotels over the years and many hotels are now providing one so I guess it's time that they did too) and the bathing area couldn't be locked. Maybe couples don't care about this sort of thing but when you're with a family, you have to shout out to them not to enter when you want to take a shower :) The beach like many beaches in Mauritius had a lot of coral deposited along the shore and the water was not very comfortable to wade into but the hotel and other attractions in Mauritius made up for this. Having said all this, it was still a very eventful and pleasant stay for us.

Loved the location! Absolutely gorgeous setting and room. Loved the friendliness of the staff, the snorkeling, and the delicious food. The snorkeling is good, it is tide dependent and the current can be a little strong. Food is delicious, absolutely loved the lemon chicken. Food is very expensive though. Definitely recommend this resort, especially for couples!
