Casa Dorma Bain

This is a fantastic property to live in. Surrounded by Mountains and waterflow next to the site. We were worried if its going to be too cold as its mid Jan. They left the heating on, by the time we reached the property it was so hot that we had to leave the doors open for sometime to bring the temprature down. Had great sleep. The bathrooms are not attached but just few feet away from the rooms. They are well maintained, one of the cleanest and spacious bathrooms I've seen in camp sites. Over all its a great place to live and I highly recommend it.

The property is near a motor way so if you leave the windows open then you may notice some noise but we closed the windows and curtain too. So, we didn't have any noise inside.

Cabin was clean and warm. Showers and toilets were close and plentiful. Location is amazing- right in the riverfront for easy walks. Easy find with public transport close by. Would stay here again.

No camp kitchen or cooking or food storage for cabin guests. Not even a kettle. There is a restaurant on site but food in Switzerland is $$$! We found an electric hot plate and bought a saucepan from the nearby charity store to cook a meal and make hot chocolate. No towels provided in cabin, though bed linen was.

Affordable accommodation in expensive Swiss while waiting for Bernina Express. Everything is fine but just expect that it is a camping cabin.

A bit remote but it is what it is so no fault of the property!

The place was very cozy, everything clean, the beds comfortable and a powerful heater. It snowed and it was very beautiful.

We booked one night when cycling the eurovelo 15. The accomodation was nice and included linen, duvets and pillows. The place had a nice table and chairs at front to sit in the sun. The staff was really friendly and we had a nice drink and food in the restaurant on the campsite. They even had vegan options, awesome! Just outside the entrance there was a lovely foot path and possibility to go to the rhine with amazing view! Small shop, bread service in the morning were also great.

It took some fiddling before the shower got hot (turn to cold, then hot), and the showerhead might need a clean / update (water changing direction like timescale has built up), but was nice and hot

Very comfortable beds.

The location was maybe a bit far, but once we figured out the system with the buses and the tickets it wasn’t so bad (you don’t get any actual paper ticket when you buy a bus ticket, line 2 to Obere Au, but the tickets are on the card you payed with).
