Kathalee Beach Resort

Love the place 😍 the owner the staff the beach the clear green water. Quite beach and far from the crowds.

Just to walk up to the room 🤣

We enjoyed everything. They offered transportation to and from harbour. Conditioner at room worked well and was silent.

Right from the start this was a great experience. They pick you up from the beach where you land with your boat, they check you in with a big smile and the location on Sunrise beach with it's own secluded section was a tropical paradise. This is a little cheaper than the more expensive resorts around it so the fixtures and fittings are not top notch but are perfectly adequate and comfortable. The sea view from our room was stunning, I really didn't want to leave. Free access to Kayaks, snorkel equipment (with coral reef 10 meters from the shore!) and a free shuttle to Walking Street made our stay very memorable. We were very happy with our stay, Koh Lipe and Kathalee will live long in our memories and our hearts.

Nothing really. Maybe the giant 5ft monitor lizard that had a staring match with me in the grounds outside our room, but that was just a wonderful wildlife encounter. Internet is a bit patchy so streaming is not really an option.

Staff very friendly and helpful, picked us up from the boat.. could get a massage on the beach or in your room on a rainy day, rooms very large and clean, breakfast included was a bonus and the pancakes were amazing, snorkels and kayaking included too was amazing!!! Free shuttle between 6-8pm to walking street was class. Ten moon next door provided great food and drink. Amazing powder white sand. All around amazing stay, wish we could have stayed longer, definitely 10/10 Thanks

Delicious breakfast. Service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. They provide a free kayak, snorkel masks, umbrellas and much more. Here you feel like a guest in a very hospitable home.

This is a really lovely well maintained place. We extended our stay here as it was that good. The room we booked was large clean with a great view. Big balcony & great breakfast. They have kayaks that you can take out for free & also snorkeling equipment.

Nothing really. We could of done with clean towels everyday as it's very warm & need to shower allot & towels didn't dry in time. If you don't get the rooms on the bottom level, the hills steep to the next seaview rooms.

Very friendly staff, good clean and spacious rooms with great views of Sunrise beach (from a Deluxe room) - the climb up the hill to the room was worth the effort! Breakfasts were good with as much as you can eat - really excellent freshly made banana pancake on request. We appreciated the free kayak and the location near some excellent coral, particularly to the right of the small island opposite the resort. It is also next door to 10 Moons which has the best restaurant on the island. We would definitely stay here again

Not quite as pristine as some other resorts in the area but the price is very reasonable for Koh Lipe and the staff were superb

The location and scenery was very nice.

However the room not comfortable and the cleaniness of toilet was terrible. The breakfast no choices and price overrated.
