Islander Beach Resort - New Smyrna Beach

It’s old and only parts have been renovated. Our room was dirty, garbage cans hadn’t been cleans out in a while, closets ripped out and braces still on wall. The construction was Soo loud couldn’t enjoy your room on the south side until after 4 pm. Hold in lamp shades. Old bed spreads. Furniture dirty. Top of the fridge was filthy. Drawers were old and smelly. Everyone smokes on their balconies so if you are a non smoker not fun to sit on your balcony. Pool was nice. Beach access great.

It will be better when they are done with the construction from the hurricane.

The location is an amazing location

The room wasn’t clean in the microwave and behind the toilet the mattress was uncomfortable you ca feel the springs. When I went to the front desk I was told that is a timeshare and nothing they can do about it. Here in the web site is no where to be found that is a timeshare. The personal with exception of Karen they was not interested to help. Every time we ask a question the answer was we are a timeshare and nothing can be done.

I liked the customer service and the location of the resort being on the beach.
