"If everything worked properly it would be a really nice getaway"

There was no breakfast and the location is GREAT. We did have a good view of the ocean from the balcony. The room was well equipped with all kitchen utensils and toiletries. Also liked extra blankets and pillows.

Hated that there was only 1 elevator working for entire building. The A/C was making a God awful noise in the bedroom so we had to sleep on the pull out couch. The bathroom floor was filthy in front of the toilet and tub (disgusting). Also did not care much for the pool closing so early.

The Islander Beach Resort is a great location with the pool and direct beach access. The room was spacious and had an amazing staff! Family- friendly and clean.

There was a nice view and the bed was comfortable.

The was no daily housekeeper that everyone hotel I've ever stayed in had. The was no shampoo that every other hotel in the world would automatically provide. Same with a some kind of location.
