Please avoid going to Vedic Village Spa Resort if you want peace of mind and comfort…. We had gone there for a single day with family (4 adults & one 2 yr old kid) and our experience was horrifying!! Let me chalk out in points for easy understanding: 1. At the entrance the security stopped both of our cars , harrassed asking us for room numbers which is absolutely ridiculous because in no resort/hotel does anyone know their room numbers BEFORE checkin!! 2. The checkin was very tedious and charged the entire booking amount in one shot and the reception lady even asked us for advance deposit of money in case we order any food from our rooms!! Never heard this before anywhere! She told us if we don’t advance deposit any money other than room charges we have to pay the food bills every time they serve rather than at checkout…!! 3. The rooms (We had booked a two room villa, they gave us 657 & 658) were an absolute horror for us when we first entered… the rooms were full of damp and smelling awefully bad, the lights in the common lobby of the villa were not working, the floors were not properly cleaned and overall extremely shabby & dirty. 4. We asked the service boy to clean the rooms atleast mop the floors and give a room freshner but they did nothing at all!! 5. There was heavy construction work going on in the adjacent villa and the labour parked 4 motorcycles right in front of our entrance 6. There was heavy drilling sound in the entire afternoon till 5:30pm in the evening and it started back again from 7:30am the next morning, my sister’s 2 year old kid could not sleep at all due to the loud drilling sound coming from the adjacent villa, eveb after repeatedly complaining to the reception the sound kept on coming 7.
