Amazing stay at AHAS GAWWA. It felt very special. The surrounding is beautiful and the views are amazing. The staff is very friendly and the room very spacious and clean. I highly recommended it

Beautiful location and views. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff are lovely. We left something in the room and the hotel even arranged for it to be delivered to Colombo.

There was a loud group visiting at the same time and given that this is a small property it was hard to escape the noise (loud talking and music). However, the staff kindly assisted in asking them to be quieter.

Complètement isolé. Ce n'était pas un hotel pour une personne seule d'autant que j'étais la seule dans l'établissement.

It’s so peaceful. View was breathtaking.

I reached around 2 pm. I had to wait for food. It would be nice if they explained the system and ask me weather I like to have the lunch or not b4 I get there.

Het is een prachtige accomodatie, echter spreekt het personeel geen Engels, daardoor ontstond er veel verwarring en is het moeilijk communiceren. De kamers zijn zeer comfortabel en luxe. De bedden slapen heerlijk. Echter het restaurant personeel maakt in de ochtend erg veel lawaai en de vloer is gehorig, waardoor je heel vroeg wordt gewekt, dat is echt zonde. Het hotel heeft een heel fijn zwembad

Great location to escape the city. The swimming pool is a great place to relax and watch the birds and monkeys.

Food and drinks are over priced. (Location location...)We had dinner which was the AHAS signature platter to share, which was expensive and not really tasty. No alcohol served which may be a deal breaker for some. However the breakfast was good which was inclusive in our stay.

We stayed at Ahas Gawwa Eco Lodge one night over and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The location is stunning. surrounded by lush greenery, fresh air, and peaceful views that make it a perfect escape from the city. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent bathroom facilities and a calm natural design. The entire property is beautifully maintained and blends harmoniously with the environment. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, always making sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The food was delicious with authentic Sri Lankan flavours and good continental variety. Every meal was fresh and enjoyable, especially while dining at the stunning restaurant overlooking the scenic landscape. A highlight of our stay was the nature trail and village cooking experience. We had the opportunity to experience rubber tapping, tea plucking and cinnamon tapping too. This was very interesting and educational too. Overall, Ahas Gawwa stands above the expectations.We highly recommend it and would happily visit again.
