We absolutely loved the facilities! The hut was very cosy and clean! The hot tub and fire pit were amazing to have and the animals nearby were beautiful!!

Everything. Stunning location. Really stylish decor with everything you could need for a short break. Super comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly. They added lovely homemade bread and some wine and other basics which was very kind. We are already planning a return visit. It was such good fun! We didn’t get chance to use the hot tub as we didn’t have time but it would be super if you did. Next time! Thank you to Simon and Vi xx

The shabby Shepherd was fabulous! Incredibly warm welcome from viv and Simon. The hut it self was lovely and cozy, the hot tub was fabulous, and the animals were unbelievably friendly! It is a fabulous little getaway!

Absolutely everything … will most definitely be back!

The hut is absolutely fantastic equipped with everything you need including garden furniture and BBQ to enjoy the evenings taking in the breathing views. Tucked away in a remote and peaceful location surrounded by nature and wildlife. We loved watching and feeding the animals! We felt truly spoilt with all the additional touches - the fresh bread was delicious. Wonderful hosts who made our trip so special. We will definitely be back to Shabby Shepherds.

I thought the price of this wonderful glamping option was insanely reasonable. On arrival the excellent and welcoming host takes you round everything that you need to know about the funky hut. As part of a welcome, the hosts provided homemade bread, as well as some milk, butter and a descent stash of eggs. There's also lots of other little touches that we were pleased with. The bathroom has good towels and toiletries. The best thing about this style of accommodation is that you get to sit out at night, look at the stars away from light pollution and sit by the provided fire pit (wood and kindling and fire starters were also provided). The bed was comfortable considering it folds down from the wall. They even provide animals for you to pet right by the hut. They own sheep and alpacas which you can pet/ look at from your accommodation (they provide food for you to feed alpacas if you want). Pub was within walking distance and they serve food if you are so inclined. If you get the chance - stay here.

For the nature of this accommodation, I could not think of anything that could have been improved.

We had an absolutely fabulous break! Hosts so welcoming and helpful. Beautiful scenery, so peaceful and lovely to see the animals - fire pit was fantastic (going to purchase one now!) Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely be back!
