Kitelantis Hotel and Resort

They have everything we wanted, just ready for use, and with friendly help from the staff. Bikes, kayaks, fishing rod, paddle board, outdoor bathroom and an excellent pool. Also the breakfast was very tasty! A must try is the Sri Lankan breakfast option.

Hard to find something but if we need to mention one point of improvement it would be the dinner: quite expensive for Sri Lanka and the quality of the fish could be better.

An absolutely gorgeous resort and we recieved a very warm welcome from the staff. For relaxing a great place!

Important note though: if you come for kitesurfing the resort is a bit away from the kitespot and the cost to get there by boat is verg high.

Price of beverage and food. 1500 rp for a beer in Sri Lanka is too much.

Very quiet and nice property. Very exotic situation regarding where we live.

The road in, is quite bumpy and there is not much here at the lagoon which served us well after a long journey. The views of the lagoon are wonderful, the room was tastefully designed with modern comforts. My poster bed was huge and comfortable, best nights sleep. My bathroom was inside / outside (don't forget to close the toilet lid - frogs), could use more power outlets. The staff are very friendly and keen to assist. The food was delicious, the restaurant has long tables set up for large groups and there is a seating area, with bean bags for the kite surfing crew. The gardens are wonderful as I believe the land was once a coconut tree farm. The pool was great, with a swim up bar. There wasn't many pool beds. In the evening time the staff set up chairs and tables to watch the sunset.

We were the only people staying at the resort, and our rooms were within a house at the edge of the resort. The keys / locks didn't work, it felt a little weird and unsafe. It would have been better to have our own cabanas closer to the main pool / restaurant area. The internet was not working well and the power kept dropping out. You are out of town, so you will need a car / driver.

Excellent staff, amazing chef catered for our vegetarian diet, food beautifully presented. Fast efficient room service. Can't praise the staff enough. Would highly recommend.

Great friendly staff, food was brilliant value for money especially for evening meal, the rooms were something out of this world though. From the outside bathrooms, to big comfy bed. The peace and tranquility of this place was amazing and we are going back to celebrate my friends birthday in a few months

Bit of a rocky road to reach to it but this is why it is so peaceful

Villa was large and comfortable. Pool was nice with bar available all day. Food was great. Staff excellent.

It’s a bit isolated if you don’t have transport. But we enjoyed just staying in the resort for a few days.

The facilities, staff and organisation of the dolphin spotting trip were superb.

The small 'beach' between the hotel grounds and it's jetty, was somewhat scruffy with litter. Although technically part of the hotel grounds, the canoeing and motorboat experience would be much improved if the hotel took responsibility for keeping this small area litter free.
