Please note we are based on a quiet rural small holding we welcome children over the age of 5 . The main guest booking must be 25 or over . No parties . We are a working equestrian small holding please be aware we do have horses and dogs onsite please consider that you are happy to be in an environment with animals . We respectfully ask all guests do not wander unsupervised onto the stable yard and to please supervise children . Please note we are not suitable for babies and toddlers and cannot accommodate cots high chairs or prams . Please note our check in times are between 3pm-6pm and later check in is on request only and subject to availability , please contact us prior to booking to request this as we cannot guarantee late check in once a reservation has been made.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. "Lovely place to stay!"

We stayed for the weekend as a couple get away, Kim and John were a lovely couple, we don’t drive so came by train/taxis and they even offered us a lift to the station on our return home, thankyou both so much! It’s a lovely and quiet area and the lodge itself is very homely, clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed our weekend away, thankyou Kim and John, couldn’t of asked for more, we shall definitely be back!

"Exceptional"

Very peaceful setting, spacious, impeccably clean and beds were really comfortable. We stayed here on our way to visit Jimmy's Farm (20 mins away), We were lucky enough to be introduced to Pegasus the Parachute Regiment mascot Shetland pony, and we also sat on the decking enjoying a pony going through its paces in the menage area. This accommodation was perfect for us as it was so relaxing. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming.

It was a shame that we only booked for one night!

"A peaceful stay in quiet surroundings a little spoilt for us by inadequate sleep and horrible weather!"

TV and WiFi excellent. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge and dining area.

Bedroom dark (cold, wet weather probably didn’t help),and bed very small with quite lumpy mattress. Unfortunately didn’t sleep well which was a shame in such peaceful surroundings.

Wonderful location for visiting surrounding areas of Dedham, Long Melford, Lavenham and Woodbridge. Lovely quiet and peaceful location in the countryside.

location was very peaceful. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Good supply of hot water Pleasant outdoor area with comfortable chairs.

the 2 bedrooms / bathrooms OK for 2 adults . Probably OK for a couple and 2 small children but suspect navigation of the space to / from bedrooms / bathrooms would be a challenge for 4 adults staying more than a couple of nights.
