Jewel Matrouh Hotel

This is the 4th stay at this hotel due to its good location. Probably the last time..

There's incredibly loud music outside the hotel every night until 4 am. It's impossible to sleep if you are a light sleeper. The beach is always packed full in the afternoon, and there's barely space to swim. If you try the beach in the morning, its full of litter. Some of the staff are unfriendly and one of them was quite rude when I suggested to them they signpost the direction to the new pool as it's more than 500 metres from the hotel. They waved their arm at me as if I was crazy. You are forced to book with meal options, and the food quality and varieties are mediocre at best. As always, the Internet was awful.

Very good very clean very friendly

The only positive aspect is the access to a private beach through one of their group hotels, where sunbeds, chairs, and umbrellas are available free of charge.

The hotel is quite old and lacks proper maintenance. We booked a room for two nights with half board, but there weren’t many options for either breakfast or dinner. The worst part was the noise from the bars in front of the hotel—they played loud music from 9 PM until 4:30 AM. It was unbearable.

Not recommend at all, very bad experience, food, service and staff all of them are bad, high value Vs. Too Low service 🤮🤮🤮🤮

The location is so bad, There is a cafes in front on the hotel, running very loudly music until early morning and I couldn’t sleep during all the nights, I have taken to the management but looks like that they see this is something normal !
