Portes Beach Hotel

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds with great facilities for family holidays . A certain degree of harassment from the deputy spa manager which was amusing but verging on annoying by the end of our holiday !! The hotel need to seriously consider ditching the lifeguards in the main pool area who went from being complete jobs worths to useless . On our last full day on Monday 15th June the so called lifeguard decided to humiliate my 5 year old grandson in front of a crowded pool of children and adults when he jumped in to the pool whilst in the pool with his parents . He came rushing over blowing his whistle . Then shouted aggressively and waved his hand and told him to stop jumping in . I witnessed the scene first hand and it was completely over the top, aggressive and bullying . My grandson was left humiliated and in tears . He had completely ignored other older and unsupervised children doing the same thing only minutes before and ignored parents putting glasses of beer at the side of the toddler pool . I have no issue with keeping to any rules but the manner he displayed was totally uncalled for and he should have addressed his parent not a young child . If this had been at the beginning of our holiday I would have made a formal complaint . When I went up to this person and questioned his behaviour he became rude and aggressive towards me and I told him the I would be mentioning him in my review

A very peaceful and comfortable hotel, perfect for a family vacation. Guests include families with children, parents, grandparents, and people of all ages. There are many Germans, Poles, and Ukrainians staying here. Everyone is polite, friendly, and respectful. The hotel staff is professional and helpful. A special thanks goes to the animators Galina and Greta. Every day at 10:00 a.m. (except Mondays), they organize yoga or stretching sessions. These classes are positive, enjoyable, and beneficial — my body felt grateful after each one. Galina also leads the children's disco every evening. The kids absolutely love it, and the adults enjoy the cheerful atmosphere as well. There are also various pool activities, dancing, and fitness sessions throughout the day. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

I visited the spa during my stay for a facial with Georgia - she was fantastic. Excellent treatment and I felt very relaxed afterwards. Thank you!
