The Golf Hotel Woodhall Spa

Location ideal for my event the next day .

In need of re fab as very shabby in areas . Net curtain in my room had hole in and the first room not good with dirty brown water from taps . Had to wait for receptionist and also had to wait for bar personal to arrive which was the receptionist. Breakfast not great either

Only one person covering reception and the bar.

The staff here were very friendly and checking and check out easy with helpful staff. Our room was large with an enormous comfortable bed. The shower was excellent

You never expect to get the rooms pictured however you do expect them to be the same standard as shown. Ours was not. The polystyrene ceiling was a mess and most of them needed replacing. The TV was dirty, you could see where the duster reached! The quilt was not quite big enough for the bed so you couldn’t spread out if you wanted to stay warm. The tea cups were tiny but at least this meant we had enough milk! While the breakfast was not cold it was not hot either! We went to the bar at 9.15pm but it was deserted and looked closed, possibly because it was early in the season (?) however if you’re open for business you should cater for your clients. Overall this hotel has the potential to be wonderful but it is very tired looking, carpet’s loose and in places threadbare (mainly up the stairs). Such a shame!

Staff were wonderful and the location was perfect for us.

Rooms very dated, the price was far too much for the quality of room

The room had a very comfortable bed! Best nights sleep ever.! Very warm room! Very clean room and ensuite! Food superb!
