Food was quite average for the price. Better food in Cenang & other islands nearby.
AUThe island was cool, pretty and nice walks around the hotel. The pool area was gorgeous in views.
The hotel was very old and it needed a refresh. Everything was falling apart. From the toilet seats in the lobby area to the window shutters on the second floor. All the locking mechanisms were broken so I didn’t feel safe with my children in there. The only restaurant for lunch was in a dingy room, at one stage there was a leak in the air-conditioning unit and the water was falling right on the serving spoons at the buffet. A lot of the stuff were great, but the pool by attendance were not. They made you feel like asking for a drink Was a hassle. We were told they opened at 11 but sometimes they wouldn’t open till 12 or 1230. They disappeared for ages on end. They didn’t wait on the pool lounges. So that was kind of a Buzzkill.
