AUWow what a place! Honestly a slice of heaven. From the second we reached the island we were in awe. This place is absolutely breathtaking. The staff are soooo amazing and helpful! The most beautiful people in the most beautiful place , not one single thing I did not like about the stay. so sad to leave but will absolutely be back!!

LYIt’s Ok .. The room is a cottage-style room, all wood, and the floors creak when you move around, especially if you're on the second floor above you! The hotel is old and needs updating. The beach and sea aren't good for swimming. It's only suitable for two nights
GBA luxury hotel on its own private tropical island? Sounds like the kind of lifestyle reserved only for the rich and famous, but Rebak Island Resort delivers beyond expectations, without breaking the bank. Such a lovely and naturally beautiful place: room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-designed, common spaces all clean and tidy, gorgeous sandy beach and nature-park grounds all immaculate and well-maintained; pool and bar were fun and relaxing, food and cocktails generous and delicious; and staff were all so cheerful friendly and personally attentive. It was low-season during my visit with my partner, so not very busy. It is quick to get to the main island (Langkawi) on the free shuttle boat, and easy to then 'Grab' a taxi to get around for tours and meals. However I'm happy I chose half-board, because the hotel restaurant is excellent, and we could spend more time relaxing on the island rather than having to commute to Langkawi for both main meals. This is the perfect place for a chilled and romantic retreat from urban chaos. I was sad to leave and would love to go back there right now.
The remote beach on the west side of the island, which is reached via a moderately demanding hike through along a well-marked forest path, had lots of plastics washed up on the tide. Apparently there are occasional clean-ups but it quickly gets messy again due to the current. However, I have no complaints about the main hotel beach, which was immaculate, with lovely golden sand, and very easily accessible.
