ZAOn arrival, the boat transfer to the resort was efficient with free wifi & vending machines for snacks & water at the waiting jetty. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly! Check in was easy. Our villa was spacious. A great selection of both Eastern & Western breakfast is on offer. The food we ordered for dinner was DELICOUS! The live background music every night was perfect. Quietly moving to the beach bar at night for more entertainment for those who felt like it, was a perfect balance. The little store on site was great for little conveniences & treats. We hoped to do more sea swimming but unfortunately the beach was closed due to jelly fish. It was a memorable, relaxing stay!!
We absolutely LOVED our stay here and only mention these items to help the resort improve to an even greater standard. The couches in our unit could've done with a clean & could be more comfortable. We took a walk to the Secret Beach but would've helped to have a little signage. We also decided to visit Red Rock Beach. The last section of the walk is not for the faint-hearted but thoroughly enjoyable. It was disappointing to arrive at this 'spectacular' part of the island, and it was full of litter. It took away from the 'rewarding view' after the big trek. The restaurant staff did not cope well on Ala Carte night (no buffet). There were too few staff to serve so many tables. They tried their best but could've done with extra people just for that night. We ordered room service for our kids one afternoon, crockery & cutlery arrived, but the food didn't. We got to enjoy incredibly warm weather & spent a lot of time in the pool, which we found to be too warm - if there is a way to cool it to make it more refreshing in the heat would be amazing. I reiterated, I still highly recommend this resort. I had an unforgettable time with my family! Thank you!
