Wave Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

We are a family of 17 people who purchased an 8-day package. The family consists of parents, children, and grandparents. We booked two adjacent rooms for each family, and specifically requested in advance that the rooms be next to each other, since we have small children. To our great surprise, when we arrived at the hotel for check-in, we were given rooms far apart from each other—on different floors and in different wings of the hotel. Even after repeated requests, no one helped us, and in the end we remained separated. This significantly harmed our vacation. The level of service and courtesy at the reception was unacceptable. The hotel is crowded, noisy, and very poorly maintained. We reported missing shower gel and toilet paper rolls, but no one brought them. We also reported poor drainage in the shower, and no one came to check. The food in the main dining room is abundant in quantity but very poor in quality—tasteless and practically inedible. The poolside lunch was meager and limited. For a family of five, we were only given two tortillas, and staff refused to provide food for all five. There are many pools, but the water is freezing cold—like an ice bath. The location of the hotel is remote and isolated, with no shuttle service to the city. Taxis are extremely expensive. One evening we dined at the hotel’s “La Carte” restaurant. Twelve family members stayed for 7 nights and 5 family members stayed for 6 nights. When we booked, we were told that since we were a large family staying at the hotel, there would be no extra charge for the restaurant. To our shock, at check-out we were forced to pay for the five family members who stayed fewer nights. Their children did not eat at all, yet we were still charged for all five. In summary: This is a mass-market, low-level hotel, at the standard of 2 stars. There is no service awareness, no flexibility, poor maintenance, and no concern for the guests’ wellbeing. It operates and behaves as if stuck in the 1970s, in the communist era. The high price we paid was absolutely not worth what we received. A great disappointment

The room was large, clean and tidy. There is a bathroom and a shower as a part to each bedroom which was very comfortable. The staff of the hotel were very kind and took care everything we've needed. There are many facilities on the hotel. even though the hotel was full with guests, we didn't feel it at all. there was always room in the dining area, we barely encountered lines in the food court and water slides. it was a great ending for our long trip.

One day, there was a show in the lobby, and the noise was just too loud. It was heard very loudly in our room, causing our little children to wake up, and they could not go back to sleep until the show ended. I'm not sure how often this happens, but I would consider having such shows outside if possible, or at least lower the volume to a reasonable level. It was awfully loud in the lobby as well.

Water too cold/hot in the shower. I couldn't bath the child because of that...

I am writing this on our last day at this hotel. We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 9 and 14. We have had the most amazing family holiday and cannot find fault with anything. The staff are all so hard working and friendly. Food and drink is perfect especially the cocktails which are amazing. The children have particularly enjoyed the snack bar at lunch time and we have found the food in the main restaurant the best that we have ever had from an All Inclusive. The animation team work extremely hard and we have enjoyed the shows in the evening. The pools are beautiful and the children have especially enjoyed the semi Olympic and indoor pools. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel to anybody and we hope to return!

Great accommodation, clean, large rooms, and the swim-up lagoon is an excellent experience. Relaxing atmosphere, nice beach and pools area. The a-la-carte restaurants are also a great experience! Live music was entertaining, but some singers could try more.

The mini aqua park should be larger, as what we find there at present is way too little. Also, the food can be improved and diversified. For example, the Benedict eggs are poorly cooked and the breakfast offer is not at all diverse, a lot of omelette and eggs - boiled, scrambled, or fried. Also, you could improve your offer at lunch. It is a good thing you do not waste too much food, but more diverse food would be great. Besides food, entertainment for children should include a gaming area, with bowling, VR, Xbox, and all the things kids enjoy. You do offer some entertainment for children, but it is not enough at all.

Водата в басейните е студена. Получих чревна инфвкция на 3тия ден от престоя ми и се наложи да приемам 2 вида антибиотици. Трябва сериозно да се обърне внимание на хигиената на персонала в кухнята и по баровете.
