The Southwick lodge

Everything the lodge is super spacious and private and hot tub is amazing! Met Tina and Spencer who were lovely and super helpful! Can't wait to go back already! 😊😊😊

It’s on a nice quiet area of the park & you have enough privacy. The hot tub was the best part for me kept the kids entertained as there isn’t a lot in or around the park for older kids. I had a problem with flies in the hot tub I’m not sure if it was the owners or not but they come without delay the next day to sort this problem for me which I was grateful for it made the rest of our stay better to keep cleaning up the hot tub.

Unfortunately i actually feel bad mentioning all of this as I think this could be a lovely van if updated but I think the lodge is a little run down & unkept. Dirty stained sofas & sheets. The steps leading to the van & also the steps leading to the garden had gaps that needed repaired felt a little worrying walking up & down them as they sort of bent in on you. There was loose paving slabs around the garden area and unfortunately the weeds & over growth in that area just make it look run down it’s something that wouldn’t take long to recover. There was damage to the decking area a small hole but still had me on edge with the kids running about it and smashed bits near the doors. I tried numerous times to sort the tv but continuously got no signal it does state there is a Xbox but I definitely did not come across this the WiFi wasn’t great until later on a night where you got a little bit if you were close to the box. I used the hob of the oven but didn’t use the actual oven as it wasn’t very clean at all.

This was a lovely lodge. Thevoutside dpace was fantastic. Zero complaints i loved it.

Excellent relaxing retreat

Everything about this lodge was brilliant, excellent location, sun beaming in, lovely hot tub, and even got to see deers in the field in the mornings.
