A fantastic Lodge and brilliant location. Just off the A1 so easy to get to. Lodge it self is close to the Park on site and a short walk to the Bar and Grill on the neighbouring site, which is good value for money and fantastic food. The lodge was lovely and comfy and had a Hot Tub on site which we all loved. We visited for Xmas and had a lovely surprise of a bottle of Prosecco and some Biscuits and Crisps as a gesture. Will definitely book here again.

Only small issues but didn’t spoil the stay. WiFi appears to be a sim dongle of some sort so was terrible. Even when on it was actually worse than my own signal and that was only 1 bar so didn’t use and tethered my phone where I could. Could do with a Towel holder in the bathroom just for a hand towel but not major. The gate doesn’t shut properly so kept blowing open when in the hot tub so had to prop a brick up against it to maintain privacy.

The hot tub was a good size but was over chlorinated

The caravan hasn't been cleaned. We found finger nails, food, empty packets and just general dirt everywhere. The shower had mould around the sealant too. The toilet even had poo still in the bowl. The carpets and sofas were disgusting with loads of stains including some suspect brown stains. They need a proper clean. Well the whole property does anyway. The place smells. The site isn't great either, but there is access to another site which is better and has a nice bar/restaurant. The beds were absolutely horrific with springs sticking out, headboards off the wall. There were also broken cupboards and light fittings. Lastly, we arrived 2 weeks before Xmas to a place advertised as a winter lodge. It was in fact a miserable caravan with no Xmas decorations at all. I hate giving a bad review like this, but people need to be warned. This place needs some major TLC

No light outside for hot tub and difficult to see the steps leading back to lodge. I would suggest replacing carpet with decent vinyl flooring. Bit of black mould in bathroom just needs silicon replacing.

The internet was shocking. Our mobiles were unable to receive our personal data so it must have also been in a bad service area. This did ruin our holiday as we were unable to google places to visit, eat, directions nor book cheaper tickets online for attractions. The cups and glasses weren’t clean so we just used our own bottles and cans of juice. Have to be careful coming out of the hot tub as the patio is uneven and limited light coming from the balcony

Host was excellent in keeping us informed about work carried out beside the lodge .She arranged for our party to have a meal each day at the crazy Horse pub and can't thank her enough.

Almost everything else, caravan was not the best, and the hot tub is not the one in the advertisement, plus it was over chlorinated. Front entrance pretty much a building site.

The lodge was in a great location. It was clean and tidy
