Tahakopa Lodge - Cabin

Peaceful, private and comfortable accommodation with parking in a stunning rural location. It has everything provided in a small self contained kitchen and separate bathroom. The WiFi here is great, no issues at all and a welcome break from technology because phone signal is weaker as it is in a rural location. I don’t understand why other guests have rated poorly for wifi - this is misleading and one cannot expect excellent phone reception when visiting remote areas. Enjoy the peace and take a break from your phone. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Lovely garden setting, off the beaten track. Ideal for getting away from the usual tourist spots. Great spot to BBQ and eat :al fresco".

Beautiful little cabin with kitchenette and bathroom areas across the porch. Very clean and comfortable. Need to be well prepared as no food/grocery stores nearby, so need to take food to prepare yourself. BBQ there but I didn’t use. Also it’s about 10kms roughly on a gravel road. I lost internet access about 15kms away from the location which was extremely annoying. It would be great if these details were made know prior to going there. Apart from that it was a beautiful place surrounded by a lovely garden. Very comfortable bed.

No internet connection at all, and walked around everywhere outside to see if there was a connection. Also need a powerboard outlet near the bed as the socket is behind the bed or on the other side of the room.
