Camping Pods, Carlton Meres Holiday Park

The pods were in a lovely location surrounding the lake. The outdoor pool was lovely and looked so inviting and heated!

When we got there the outside table was covered in bird poo and we had to get someone to clean it but this didn't happen until the next day.

The pod was great, really comfy and clean. Campsite in general was great, very quiet and well looked after. Would definitely go back

The shared toilets weren’t very clean, they are being used by a lot of people and not just pod travellers so frequency of cleaning needs to be increased.

The facilities were terrible loads of leaks in female toilets near the pod's, and mens in club house, food was very substandard over priced and over an hour wait, staff at the bar were not very professional drinking energy drinks while talking orders from the bar, pod's where lovely but not very clean dust and cobwebs everywhere,

The camping pod was clean and tidy (has photos showed on website). Great location in the country side with two large lakes.

The toilets and showers were very limited for the large number of people using them, plus they required a lot more cleaning throughout the day.

Pretty view

Toilets showers not very clean. Pod full of cobwebs and dust smelt musty. Needs grass or decking outside, so don't keep walking bark and mud in. Needs more lights along path for walking to toilet at night.

The pod facilities were appalling, dirty floors, sinks, toilets and no toilet roll. The toilets in the restaurant were just as bad
