KTDC Lake Palace

Fantastic location, all wildlife can be experienced from the palace itself. Very peaceful, serene, and lovely personalized care by the staff. Beware of monkeys stealing your food, though the staff is very vigilant and makes sure they stay away

No internet connectivity which has its plus points but can be handicapping especially as connectivity to land is also by boat.

The location, ambience, and staff were truly excellent.

The bed was quite small, and the room felt compact as well.

One of a kind experience to be in the middle of the forest. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. We had a lovely stay. A+++++

The location on an island in the lake is hard to beat. Breakfast is eaten on the veranda looking out at a manicured garden and watching the tourist boats ride by. Birds and monkeys are in abundance. The atmosphere is historical and like something you can’t experience in this day and d age. Breakfast is cooked to order with Indian and Western options. There is fruit plate, fresh juice, and eggs as you like them. Tea and coffee are brought at the end of breakfast and the service is superb. The staff tries to meet all of your needs, as well as helping you arrange touring options. It is hard to leave this setting! I forgot to mention that we watched elephants playing across the lake from the benches in the lawn: an amazing experience.

It would be nice to have the meal times/ excursions put down in writing, rather than having to ask the staff about things- but this is very minor.
