KTDC Lake Palace

Place is alive with Rudyard Kiping's Jungle Book Characters. Saw Wild Elephant, Wild Boar and Tropical Birds.

Can have more staff who are Nature Focused, Volunteers . Some body who is ecstatic about nature. Could have included a nature walk or some thing educational or a orientation tour with the package The adjoining The Staff Quoters were in a messy condition

Would have been nice to open window shutters if an insect screen was fitted.

The staff was amazing , trying to make us comfortable and feel at home. They showed us all around as soon there were animals, they told us. They cared for us when we were tired fixing us the Indian food we liked to eat.

We liked everything!

What a magical place! We spotted mongoose on the boat ride there, 6 elefants in the evening just on the opposite side of the lake and lots of monkeys in the morning. Great food as well!

Everything! We had the most relaxing couple of days of our lives!! The food is also wonderful!

Location- Amazing property if you are looking for some solitude & "me" time. Your connection to the mainland is only via a ferry! Food- All the meals were amazing and curated to suit the taste buds of the guests. Staff- Amazing staff. Everything happens behind the scene. Anish (caretaker) and Arun (waiter/help) were just amazing. view- stunning views.

There is nothing to dislike :-)

We saw wild elephants from the island which made our stay. Food was also amazing, especially loved afternoon tea. They were considerate of me being vegan which was easy as they make 3 veg and 2 non-veg curries every meal (although sometimes we got paneer). Cleanliness of the place was also good and staff were lovely, arranged everything for us, even a last-minute trek.
