Food area under the swimming pool

The washrooms are small in the large 2 bed apartments.

The room was a great size, the pool was nice and the very lush gardens were lovely. The staff and cook at the restaurant were excellent - very efficient and friendly. The food was great, but we had to WhatsApp from a menu in our room and were then messaged when it was ready. We had taxis called for us and that was all handled quickly and easily.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have slept on in India with a very thin mattress and hard base below. Luckily there was also a sofa bed in the room, so we slept on that. The pool was great, but there were no loungers (we asked) and no chairs or tables round it. We found some chairs in a different area of the grounds and used those and then a couple of staff members did bring us some pop-up type camping chairs that were lounger size after they saw us sunbathing on our towels on the tiles!! So in the end it was fine. One day there was a large group of teenagers at the resort who were using the pool and playing loud music. It was ok as we didn't want to use the pool and were just sitting round the edge, but a guest was in the pool getting constantly splashed and she left (with nowhere else to sit and relax) and we eventually left as the music was deafening. I don't think they were staying at the resort, but clearly were allowed to be there which is fine, but no allowance was being made for the paying guests. Our room was right next door to the reception area and although it was nice and big, one of the reception staff who worked from 6pm-6am had YouTube videos blaring really loudly throughout most of his shift. It wasn't all night every night, but it was enough to be a disturbance and made it rather loud to sit out on our porch. It has everything it needs to be a great resort, but as it's quite quiet it seems to though the guests who are there are not actually being taken into account in a way you would expect.

The peaceful location and good cottages

When i confirmed booking from booking.com the total amount was showing 2,420/- but property charged 2,710/- stating commission amount they have to pay to booking.com. Booking.com price should have been same as what property is charging.In future it's better to avoid booking from booking.com
