The St. Regis Goa Resort

Comfortable stay and very good service as usual. Attentive staff. Food and restaurants quality was great. Peaceful location

A life-threatening incident happened to us caused by the taxi unions right in front of the hotel gate when we were leaving the hotel. St.regis didn’t seem to do their best to prioritize and protect the guests safety which was very disappointing to us.

We loved the luxury the property provided us right from the offset. The breakfast buffet and restaurant choice were fantastic.

All was amazing!

We are a couple in our 60s quite fit. Arrival We flew into GOX airport which is the airport further away. It is better to fly into Dabolim airport. we had arranged for a taxi transfer. The St Regis person was at the airport and got us into a taxi. St Regis offer one airport transfer free if it is Dabolim. However they extended this to GOX as well. It took us 1h 45 mins to get to the resort. Some roads were pretty bad. There is a new road being built that should be completed in a years time. On reaching the Resort we had a warm welcome and did the traditional gong thing. We had a cold drink and cold towels to freshen up. Lady came to take our details and payment. We were taken by an electric buggy to the room. The luggage followed quickly. Although the buggy ride seemed quite long, when one walks from the room to the Great Hall and dining area, it was very short. Room. We had a Lagoon Grand Deluxe, The room was a good size with a balcony overlooking a lagoon. It was a great view. King size bed with multinational electric sockets. The bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. The room was cleaned daily and tidied up in the evening. The cleaning team were excellent. Food I am vegan and my wife is vegan/vegetarian. There was plenty of choice in the buffet. The chef came and spoke to me almost every day. They made tarka dhal jeera rice and fulka one day. The rest of the time I was happy helping myself to the vegan options available in the buffet. There was a great variety of food every meal time. The food items were changed daily. All the food was tasty. I had a vegan pizza once but did not like the vegan cheeze. It was rather salty. Desserts were great Beach This was a 5 min walk. Buggy available for less abled. Plenty of sunbeds and a quiet beach. We took long walks on the beach. Pool. Good sized pool with plenty of sunbeds. The pool was closed for maintenance for about 4 days of our stay. Aqua Plenty of games, ideal for the rainy day.

1. Service in the dining hall was a little slow at times. 2. The AC in dining hall made the place quite cold and once I even thought of getting a fleece. 3. Due to the high AC levels the food would get cold quickly. 4. We had loud music being played close to the beach for some conference being set up.

Beautiful and high quality facilities. The staff were excellent and highly attentive. We organised a surprise private beach barbecue for my husband which was outstanding.

Food was excellent, beach was one of the cleanest I have seen in Goa. Both housekeeping and restaurant staff were super helpful.

The coridoor/ entrance to the rooms was wet and muddy during the rains. Umbrellas were not available inside/ outside the rooms.

Wealth of choice for breakfast.

More restaurants on site would be nice. One restaurant was under renovation during our stay.

儿童俱乐部的两个女职员没有微笑，感觉没有耐心，所以态度不是很热情，并不能很好的照顾孩子。

Location is exceptional and staff was courteous..

Before going we asked for interconnected rooms but staff didn't respond and gave us rooms in differenr floors.. this was corrected only after we stood our ground.. We had also requested for an airport pickup but response came only after a week and on the day of travel when we already made alternate arrangements.. Phones were not answered and we had to call repeatedly for everything.. Room service was very slow and even forgot few orders.. Had to wait for more than 1hr even for desserts..

The staff and service at the resort were amazing, the selection of food for Breakfast had everything you good ever want and the evening buffet was also exceptional. It was a real shame the other restaurant's were not open due to renovation and season as we would then have probably not left the resort to eat at all.

As per my comment above it needs to be a little clearer that some of the facilities are seasonal and may be under renovation as this was not clear until we arrived
