Atlantica Caldera Palace

Our second stay at Atlantica Caldera Palace. It is a truly brilliant hotel for families. The Tui run kids club is superb, offering 2-hour sessions in the morning and afternoon for no additional costs (3-12yr). The also run an evening kids club a couple of times a week from 6-8pm. There is a baby club for infants, which is chargeable. The rooms are really spacious, comfortable, and clean. Room air-conditioning is also excellent, which was needed during our stay as temperatures were around 33 degrees. The food again is excellent, a great variety, very fresh and great options for kids both at the dedicated kids section and from the general buffet. The evening entertainment was generally good, depending on what you're into. The pre-show kids' entertainment is good and gets young ones engaged, adding to the overall family holiday experience. Good selection of pools to choose from with many rooms having access to private pool or on lazy river style areas. We split our time between the adults only pool areas (when son was in kids' club) which are very chilled with nice facilities and the kids' splash pool, which again is excellent, he thoroughly enjoyed this area. Another plus is that the hotel is right on a sandy beach and has dedicated sun loungers for hotel guests as well as drink service on the beach. The beach is very clean with lifeguards on duty. Decent free WiFi throughout the hotel. As far as all inclusive family holidays go, this is the best we have experienced.

Perfect hotel for families with kids. We had a room which gives onto a swimming pool and the kids loved it! There is a wonderful kids camp, and a kids pool. The food / drinks were good.

Wir waren bereits letztes Jahr hier. Das Hotel ist sehr gross, aber weitläufig, die Anlage ist gepflegt und die Menschen verteilen sich gut. Es hat mehrere Adults Only Bereiche, sowohl am Pool als auch im Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Wir würden das Zimmer mit Swim-Up Pool empfehlen. Die Unterhaltung am Abend ist hochwertig und abwechslungsreich. Das Essen ist gut und es findet sich immer etwas, was man mag. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Trotz dem schlechten Wetter und der entsprechenden Laune der Gäste blieben die Mitarbeiter immer höflich und zuvorkommend. Das hauseigene Spa bietet zahlreiche Behandlungen zu fairen Preisen an. Das Personal ist gut ausgebildet und hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel war eher voll, was für diese Zeit ungewöhnlich ist. Da nicht alle Restaurants geöffnet waren, gab es zu den Stosszeiten teilweise Wartezeiten. Im Restaurant wird es sehr laut, wenn es voll ist. Im Spa war es eher zu kalt. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind modern und wirken gut gepflegt. Das Hauptgebäude hingegen ist veraltet, der Teppichboden wirkt dreckig und es müffelt leicht modrig. Da wäre es Zeit für ein Update.

Die Adults Only Bereiche, Wasserliegen im Pool toll! Strand Abschnitt war schön. Zimmer schön und groß. Mexikanisches Abendrestaurant zu empfehlen!

Alle Liegen wenn man nicht um 7 aufstehen möchte bereits belegt, und nicht nur die guten sondern wirklich fast alles und das im Juni. Zimmer voller Gelsen. Personal war nicht daran interessiert zu helfen, meinte nur wir sollen einen Gelsenstecker kaufen gehen. Generell nicht das Service was man in einem 5 Sterne Hotel erwartet, hatten sehr oft beim Essen bis wir fertig waren noch nicht mal Wasser bekommen weil die Kellner überfordert waren. Kinderprogramm beim Abendessen sehr laut direkt daneben, auch nicht gerade angenehm. Bei den Cocktails schmeckt man leider sehr den billigen Akohol, waren einfach nur stark aber nicht wirklich gut.
