Edit:- we did receive a courteous reply from the manager on 10th February. We had issues every single day of our week long stay. Things that should have been sorted just weren't. Our holiday was more stressful trying to sort the issues, than our normal daily life. I was given the name of the hotel manager - Mr David Lopez, and had a conversation with him, whilst staying at the hotel. He gave me his e-mail address and asked me to write once I was home. He asked for concise details of all the issues we encountered. We did this nine days ago, but have never received a reply, let alone an acknowledgement that he has read our e-mail. I would avoid this company. They lie to make you go away, and do not deliver on their booking conditions. This was not a cheap option for us, and we had so much grief, that we felt we wasted the entire amount that we spent.

Clean and lot of space

The Concierge, Front Desk, Security staff was good - but not excellent... The Lobby bar, poll, beach, restaurants staff (kitchen, bartenders and serving staff) were all FANTASTIC. The Casino and Sports Bar Employees and then the Entertainment team - also FANTASTIC. Food / Restaurants were a 7-8 ... A few of the restaurants were below expectations for Iberostar though... Others were great, though, like the French and Italian restaurants. Beach was ok, not great like in Punta Cana though...

The room cleaning crew/operations and some of the room service was bad... The room was clean BUT ... We have repeatedly asked them to restock the fridge, the bathroom lotion, Kleenex, bath slats...etc... Left notes and $$ to make it more obvious... Didn't happen... Then I went to the Concierge...and even after that, still wasn't done as we found it on the first day. We have been to other Iberostar Grand Resorts and this is by far at the bottom of them. But the staff was great and always respectful and nice. We know how this works (with re-hiring staffing or extending their contracts), so don't go firing people over this comment. The overall system needs to be better and those that take the orders need to pay more attention. Although everyone speaks English... so I am not sure what the issue was. Some of the restaurants - way below expectations...like the Japanese... and by that I mean the food. The service was great though. Beach was ok, but not great like in Punta Cana though... the water was super dirty and full of weeds.
