Location, staff and relaxation was the ultimate 👌

Location was good. Staff were helpful. My husband & I both really enjoyed the fishing amenities. However, the cleanliness of the accommodation was horrific. We had initially booked the room with the private pool. The pool was dirty & ice cold & the room was filthy as well. I immediately went to reception to express my dissatisfaction with the room & he showed us another unit. Bear in mind, we did not get a refund for changing units without an indoor pool. The second unit was abit better than the first but not clean at all. I felt dirty to even sit on the couch. The bedding had a funny smell & the towels were rolled up on the bed extremely damp. Needless to say, I hardly got any sleep on the 2 nights that we spent there. There was only 1 bedside table in the main room so on the other side of the bed, it was empty. We only received one roll of toilet paper for our 3 day stay, and no clean towels were provided. The shower had not been cleaned & the entire bathroom was soaked with water after the shower had been open. There were smashed cockroaches in both the units on the inside of the kitchen cupboard doors. I was horrified at the cleanliness & basic hygiene of this place so I will not recommend anyone to book there. To give you an idea of how dirty I felt staying there, on the 3rd day upon checkout, I left in my pjs & drove home to take a shower. The chalets are definitely not worth the money you pay for them. Perhaps get proper cleaners to clean the units. There are random men that clean the unit & are clearly not doing a half decent job. The pictures are not what you get. Don’t be fooled.

)TV wasn't working on arrival, called reception to sort out. 2) Air conditioner remote was under the couch cushions which means the chalets wasn't cleaned properly or checked properly. 3) Couches are filthy dirty. 4) Frying pans are far too small and look like kids toys. 5) The shower door in the middle bedroom doesn't close properly and scrapes on the tiles. 6) The shower drain is blocked and flooded the bedroom. 7) No soap dish in the shower. 8) R40 for a ice cream is ridiculous, amongst other items in the shop. 9) Games room pool table is broken and not a full set of pool balls. However, the staff are amazing, respectful and accomadating and came to clean the bedroom around 9pm after the water flooded it.

Felt safe, peaceful, decent facilities,

Bathroom shower broken, R10 for a game of pool daylight robbery especially when you need other attractions as dam levels are very low. Doors have gaps between frames.
