The location is absolutely stunning and the staff very friendly and thoughtful. We wanted to go from Etosha to Caprivi and this location is then the perfect stop in between. We only stayed for one night but its a perfect place to stay a bit longer. They have an amazing chef who made us a lovely dinner, and besides that we also went on the sunrise cruise which was very nice as well.

Wir erlebten ein liebevoll in die Natur eingebettetes Camp, das viele Möglichkeiten bot, im Schatten auszuruhen. Unser Haus mit Bad stand auf Stelzen, lag sehr ruhig mit einer Veranda. Der Blick zum Cubango-River war toll, insbesondere der Sonnenaufgang! Jeder unserer Wünsche wurde umgehend erfüllt! Auf dem Weg zum Boot für unsere Bootstour mit Konrad, bot man uns frisch gefangen Fisch an. Unser Wunsch, zum Dinner Fisch zu bekommen, wurde erfüllt. Unseren Frauen zeigte man Fisch zur Auswahl und dem damit verbundenen. Mehrpreis. Vom Camppersonal nach localen Rezepten zubereitet, konnten wir eine besondere Delikatesse genießen. Wir hatten Glück, da der uns angebotene Fisch nicht immer geangelt werden kann (nur ca.alle 4 Monate). Alles in allem eine sehr gute Gelegenheit, einen Stop am Anfang des Caprivizipfels einzulegen. Vielen Dank für tolles Essen und viele Tipps.

Bei der Planung eines Besuchs, muss man auf der parallel zur B8 verlaufenden Landstrasse D3402, den Punkt "Mukuku Rest Cam (Turn-Off) " als Zielpunkt suchen. Von diesem Punkt aus ist der Weg zum Camp gut ausgeschildert! Sonst sendet Google Maps einem über Angola, was absolut falsch ist!!!!

De sfeer, de ligging, het eten en de vriendelijke eigenaren. Het is een mooi onderhouden lodge aan de rivier. Ook de excursie naar een dichtbij gelegen kraal was authentiek.
