Mukuku Oasis Lodge

De rustige omgeving. Aan de rivier, midden in de bush. Het geweldige eten van Ansi, de mooie open chalets en de prachtige enthourage, de mooie boottocht met Hannes. Hannes en Ansi deden er alles aan om ons verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Ze zochten overal een oplossing voor en het was heel gezellig.

De onverharde weg naar de lodge was erg lastig om te fietsen, maar met de auto geen probleem.

Jeder Moment, nachdem wir in das Tor eingetreten waren, war ein Genuss. Die Lage ist ein Traum und das was das Paar geschaffen hat ist unglaublich. Aber der Höhepunkt für uns waren Ansie und Hannes selbst und die herzliche Liebe, die Sie uns geschenkt haben.. Wir freuen uns schon so sehr, dass wir wieder auf der Rückreise ihre Gäste sein dürfen.

Excellent hosts that went above and beyond!

The room, the breakfast, the bar quality, everything excellent! The owners really care about their guests and did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The owner of the facility accompanied us on a boat tour in the area and he explained to us a lot about the local wildlife. He was super nice to us and he also suggested the local souvenir shop which was a gem for our trip. Definitely recommended!

Situated in beautiful gardens clearly well maintained. Fantastic location on the river and very peaceful. Very basic facilities for cooking but perfectly adequate. Room was very comfortable. Hosts were exceptionally lovely.

Outside bathroom was a bit chilly overnight!

A great location for travelling from Etosha to Caprivi Strip. Its a real haven on the Kavango river and the sunsets are beautiful. The facilities in the rooms are good and the home made rusks amazingly good. It's a great spot for bird watching.

Hot water is definitely only available in the early morning. Tough when you have had a long day's driving and just want to clean up, but not the end of the world. In summer it wouldn't be a problem and a cold shower probably welcome but in winter you want hot water.

The gardens, shaded, friendly hosts . Chalet well equipped for Selfcateting .

The hosts were very kind and considerate. The surroundings were exceptional.
