Food was excellent, & staff were very friendly a very helpful.

The bed in our room (but none of the other rooms!) was v v hard.

Emplacement exceptionnel au calme sur une petite île où l'on peut se baigner et faire une petite balade. Maisons nubiennes en terre ( limons du Nil).

Attention le point d'embarquement peut être difficile à trouver : sur MAPS inscrire Krouma Camp Ecolodge ferry-boat.

"Einfache Unterkunft in atemberaubender Lage"

-Ruhige Oase in der Natur -Sehr gutes Essen und Frühstück -sie haben uns ein Boot mit Fahrer organisiert- es war eine tolle Bootstour

- sehr einfache Unterkunft- uns hat es nicht gestöet aber man muss es wissen - das Frühstück war inklusive aber beim 2. Frühstück mussten wir dann den Kaffee und die Pancakes für die Kinder doch noch bezahlen.

Lovely quiet location, an Island on the Nile. We swam, walked, had nice Egyptian food, the rooms were in old Nubian buildings very comfortable. We had a wonderful boat trip to Aswan, Nubian village and kitchner island. Music and singing on our last night. We will come back. Sherif & Esra could not have been more helpful.

The back road to landing spot to get boat to island is bumpy. I would advise leaving by boat down to Aswan.

"Natural healing utopia"

Wow, what a healing experience at Krouma! I felt like I was at home with my Egyptian family, in a little utopia kingdom. My nervous system was able to totally relax - a perfect place for a self-led artist residency with no distractions. I loved the staff also, and the ability to take a mini hike around the island and connect with the nature, and swim safely in the Nile. The boat service was easy and available to get around Aswan. 100% reccomend, this was an experience i'll carry with me forever <3
