Great location Though islands come with their disadvantages which is having to get a boat to go anywhere Staff are lovley So many animals on the island, goats, cats, dogs etc. all lovley and very used to humans. The whole camp environment is really nice

I loved everything about Krouma Camp! Staff was really nice to me, I felt at home. The location is perfect. The room and bed comfy. They helped me organize everything from pick ups to tours. I had the most plesent time here and I will definitely be back.

The place is without any doubt extremely beautiful, a special location that compensate for the absolute lack of service.

The place has such a big potential, but it is not exploited at all, it was a big big disappointment. The complete lack of communication in signaling possible activities to do or about the fact that we had come back by 9 pm to get the last boat shuttle. It was a real nightmare to sleep in a room full of mosquitoes and the staff did not communicate about a device in the room to keep mosquitoes away. We were very disappointed, it was the most expensive accomodation in Egypt and by far the worst experience and worst night sleep.

The lodge is in an amazing nature surrounding. The garden is huge and beautifully decorated. The food at the restaurant is good.

No wifi in the bedroom. We had cold showers in the evening; better to shower first thing in the morning. It was difficult to communicate with the staff. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the bedroom that unfortunately prevented us from having a good night sleep. The location being in an island, it is isolated and you need a boat to get out.

Extremely cozy and welcoming environment. Staff was very kind and hard-working. The location is far from most touristic sights (with exception of the Nubian Village, which is very close), but the staff was very helpful on providing transportation at all times for an affordable price and flexible schedules. Besides, the location is paradise-like: beautiful traditionally designed lodging and restaurant located right next to the Nile, where me and my husband bathed several times. The Island is also worth exploring, with an amazing view. The food and fresh juice were also great, as well as the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. Communication was a bit challenging for us who didn’t speak Arabic or Nubian, but the owners, who spoke English very well, were always available to assist us. Being able to count on the WhatsApp contact was very helpful by the way.

The staying at Krouma completely regenereting us after the crazy Cairo. The place is a little heaven of earth so peaceful and connected to nature. Definitely one of the most beautiful place ever. You are in an island on the Nile and there are plants and beautiful flowers everywhere. Bathing in the Nile it's lovely. Sherif the owner is a very good soul and they are creating not only a beautiful eco-friendly place for people to stay but they are also involving the community of the village making a music school there for the kids around the area to keep their tradition alive in the new generation. Such a beautiful project! Also the FOOD IS AMAZING! everything we got was so tasteful and beautifully serve! Portion are very good as long as the price. Thank you for everything Bianca & Federico

Little piece of paradise in Assuan. Lovely place and very beautiful structure to immerse yourself in nature. For me the best spot to swim and enjoy nile river without noisiness of the city. The meals are very good quality and affordables. Also staff is very kind and friendly. For sure i recomend to stay here!

Not super easy to reach because it's inside a small nubian village, but still worth it for what it offer the location it self.
