Fodele Beach Water Park Resort

The buffet had a good variety of food for lunch and dinner every night and it was tasty. Overall The staff were lovely , the Guest relations Ana and Danielle were fantastic , the staff at the front desk , the bar staff , George , Demitri , Popi and another girl , all the general staff always said hello and had a smile.

I really wouldn't recommend this hotel at all , I'd suggest booking somewhere in a town that you have more variety and a beach , apart from the convenience of having food there is nothing special about the hotel. A lot of what is listed isn't actually available such as the spa , the entertainment, the rooms and other facilities. All inclusive should mean all inclusive, The hotel offered "some inclusive" certain cocktails/drinks were not available. The bar closed at 11pm and you were then charged very high prices if you wanted another drink. The entertainment was non existent, out of 7 nights there was one live performance on the main area , a greek show. There was no live music , singers or anything to create the atmosphere, You have nowhere else to go close by the resort due to the location. Very disappointing it's just football or bad music over a speaker.The kids club was really poor in the evening which meant you have kids running around screaming when you are trying to relax in the evening as there is nothing to keep them occupied , there is a games room but of course this isn't covered by all inclusive and is an additional charge The spa - booking.com states it has nails , waxing , beauty services ..this is not true. You can pretty much only have a massage. I booked the sea view room ,which stated and pictured a balcony .. the room I was allocated was on a shared terrace in front of a pool , you could see the beach behind it , absolutely no privacy whatsoever. I requested to be placed in the room type I booked and was told they were fully booked however I could see on booking.com.there was lots of availability for this room type. The front reception where helpful and changed my room the next day.

Loads of entertainment for all the family.

I use a buggy and this property was definitely not designed with buggy or wheelchair users in mind, all the rooms are spaced out ridiculously up hill so it’s just a headache.

Pools a bit cold

Lots of swimming pools available so everyone is spread out, along with the beach being so close. Food available at all times of the day. Bars everywhere and at the beach - the beach is lovely and the sea is amazing. Lovely to have the water park and there are no queues to get on the slides. The evenings are magical when the resort is all lit up. So many beautiful places to sit and admire the landscape. We stayed at the sea front so there was less steps generally and easy access to the beach - also there are lifts available to the beach.

You have to try hard to search for a problem...all was fine for us!

Daily room cleaning was not good Entertainment is very poor in the hotel, specially for kids. Very low water pressure in the showers The Italian restaurant in the hotel is not a big deal at all Kids club was also mediocre

Animation team

- Location - NOT recommended for elderly people and families with strollers - the hotel is located on a mountain slope, and all rooms can be only reached via numerous stairs or by electric train, which is not working evenings and nights. - The restaurant is very small for the number of guests during the busy season. A lot of food, but nothing to eat - tasteless and uninteresting dishes. - Water park is unsafe. The lifeguards do not take their work seriously but only sit on their phones. People leave the water park with cuts, scrapes and injuries. It also consists of a thousand steps, quite slippery.
